The music is the message. These compositions are manufactured utilizing Morse code messaging. The goal is to use music as a form of communication in resistance to an overtly authoritarian government. A government that doesn't appreciate open, unobstructed criticism. Faced with a rise of fascist ideology at home and abroad, this form of communication might again be used as a tool for subverting authority and relaying information. What sounds like regular ambience or drones is in truth an encoded message that can be deciphered using normal digital audio manipulation techniques.

It has a good review at Igloo Magazine here: https://igloomag.com/reviews/colin-dyer-cypher-schematic

Quote

Consequently the music featured on Cypher is transportive in a tremendous and utterly grimy—if not intoxicating—voyage to a desolate-painful continent. This frightening soundscaping eeriness enthralls the mind with a vast array of micro-noises, echoing electronic motifs and percussive obliterations.

Thanks for listening guys!

There are still a few hours left for Bandcamp Friday.

Spoiler

There are actually 8 tracks, not 6. You'll have to find the easter egg to get them.

I'm embarrassed to say that I still haven't listened to this yet.  I'll remedy soon.

Congrats on being featured dude!
