first and foremost Buck 65 sucks and anything like him... and jediMind tricks are super gay. Listen to Tribe and O.C. and anything Hieroglyphics(No Need for alarm and Fear itself)... Gangstarr and jeru The damaja are my bread and butter. lastly Lord Finesse and Showbiz and AG... BOMB!

just download this, smoke a bowl and enjoy, my son:

KanKick mix

nice, is there perhaps a tracklist for this mix? I like it!

I prefer instrumentals as well, just started listening to J Dilla and Madlib for a bit, tried some old Run DMC and stuff like that a while back, found out Ï just don't really enjoy rap. It often distracts me from the music.

On The Shining by J Dilla, the vocals are just fucking annoying imo, maybe because J D didn't produce it himself (right?) anyway the vocals just seem out of place, especially on E=MC2.

Anyway, I do really like the instrumental versions of all the tracks on The Shining, so I'd recommend checking out The Shining (Instrumentals) if you haven't already.
