I really hope someday all sorts of blindness could be cured. That'd be amazing.

Hopefully a step to more possibilities soon :)

stem cell research is a sin against God

blindness is his curse upon masturbaters and unmarried black sinners who fornicate in the back of cadillacs

with cures like this, i always wonder if there will be a point where humans will all be born deaf, blind, crippled, etc. through the failure of natural selection and technology will have to save them.

They could screen out mongs in utero, if you were worried about that angle. Mainly though will be the rise in the ability to select for the best egg to implant in the first place, an egg that would be messed with to select for more desirable features like intellect and of course beauty.

Then of course once the kid gets out into the world, he'll have a candyshop of augmentation heading his way, just to keep up with the ever shifting definition of normal.

that would take quite a long time i think. We will have totally hijacked evolution by mid century imo.

oooooooooooooouuuuuuuchhhhh... not cool zeus... hahah remarkably good paint skillz though, or at least I think, couldn't look at it for long(mostly terrified of the possibility of actually being grossed out and fearful of a paint job)((guess that fear is a now proven to be a reality)

while I would love immortality as much as the next guy, I'm actually glad to be part of one of the last fully human generations. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking a world filled with spoiled gifted brats and immortal Donald Trumps is going to suck.
