I've not been much of a Gorillaz fan since the debut but I really enjoy some of the tracks on this. Even the Kano one and I fucking hate Kano.

Fact: Damon Albarn has only one drum sample pack.

Yeah seriously, wtf. Listened to Demon Days and the debut album, and the percussion is a lot more diverse.

That said, I probably enjoyed Plastic Beach more the second time. I might even say, I think...maybe it's up there with the other two LPs?

Apparently Paul Simonan and Mick Jones of The Clash are joining Damon Albarn for the live gigs. It should be interesting.

Here is the full lineup.

Mike Smith - Keyboards

Jesse Hackett - Keyboards

Paul Simonon - Bass

Cass Browne - Drums

Damon Albarn - Guitar, Piano, Vocals

Gabriel Wallace - Drums

Geoff Wotton - Guitar

Mick Jones - Rhythm Guitar

I've really got into this album however like others here I didn't like it the first time I heard it. I like: whit flag, stylo, superfast, empire ants, some kind of nature, on melancholy hill, plastic beach, to binge

I've yet to listen to this a second time still, did very little for me.

Try listening to it again, correctly.

Define correctly then I'll since I want to know your definition. I just sat down and listened to it and fell asleep, maybe that's why.
