it's cool seeing him use Logic instruments.

Awesome porn of tape delays.

I like what he said about generative music, like darwin's theory that things can be created from the bottom up instead of top down (god theory).

and damn. the guy owned 7 DX7's.

i love 'this' but his harmonies at the end get a bit crusty..

that entire album is a bit underrated.. some bad tracks but over all not so bad.

it's very david byrney - i have had friends come in when i have it on and more than once someone has gone 'david byrne?'

i love how he notes this as a favourite

'the mix between moroder's mechanistic rhythms and summer's sexy, soulful lyrics' to paraphrase. it is a great track.

you can tell he listens to a lot of gospel now.

i am presently enjoying warm jets and tiger mountain, as always. but also the later installation pieces (bell studies, music for white cube, the quiet club)

definitely an enjoyable docu, a worthy excuse to distract me from finishing some songs

Yeah Eno's singing abilities are dubious but I like a lot of what he's done. I saw the three Pure Scenius shows he did at the Sydney Opera House with Karl Hyde, that was fucking awesome. Thankfully he let Karl do all the singing and he restricted himself to doing the occasional spoken word thing about getting old. "Once you reach the age of forty, there's nothing else to write about but.... I'm still alive... and I'm running out of time"
