kaini Posted September 22, 2010 Author Share Posted September 22, 2010 i saw konono no. 1 live a couple of years back, and they were incredible shit hot; i danced my ass off. they have a slightly different sound, but a similar DIY ethic to this stuff. also recommended is toumani diabate - although his stuff isn't electronic, the rhythms are definitely similar.
