Candiru
*Pulls up old thread from trash bin* Need some reconmendations similar to this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2Bh68ZAZm4 I'm not a Jazz music expert at all. Is this kind of laid back/chilled out jazz called something special? The first thing that came to mind was Miles Davis' soundtrack to Elevator To The Gallows, a French film noir. Love this stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uLPPd7qsdA

ghOsty
I love me some Wes Montgommery... true fact: he never used a pick always his thumb or fingers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-rjvoZOaos I also dig Coltrane, and some Sun Ra. Also love the more modern darkjazz stuff like The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Bohren & Der Club Of Gore. Austin Peralta's "Endless Planets" on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label is actually some damn good legitimate jazz as well, very worth checking out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tmi97Qkt4cQ
