I don't know, I think it's probably good.

It's 75$ a bottle.

Aged for 14 months then cold filtered/frozen 3 times.

Same company has one called "sink the bismarck" that's 41% alcohol =/

how big's the bottle?

if it's not that big then you'd be better off buying a bottle of your fav. spirits, surely?

unless you have loads of cash. :)

It's only 330ml. =(

Oh definitely the drunk/volume proportion is way off.

We have this nasty malt liquor shit here called Axehead that costs 5.65$ a bottle. 14% alcohol, 1.14 liters.

Sometimes I buy it and get drunk under my coffee table just to feel dirty. It's a nice counterbalance to the scotch and cognac I usually buy.

haha

I stick with either meukow or hennessy xo for cognac.

For scotch I like glenfiddich 12-18yo.

Nothing fancy

Fred, if you're intending to go sober for reals, I wish you a ton of luck.

Glenfiddich 15 Solera is probably the best of their whole line, too, and not ridiculously expensive (even in the States, where Scotch is sometime exorbitant). The 12 gets maligned a bit by the ubersnobs, but it's a good 12, and the 15 is legitimately wonderful. And the solera vatting system makes a lot of sense; I'm surprised it's not catching on.
