I know exactly what men need.

Basically its the base men need, but men need a lot less fat than females.

Women need 10%!

Am I correct in assuming that if someone was at 100% body fat they'd literally just be a pile of solidified lard with a few bones & a crying eagle commemorative tshirt sticking out of it?

(the bones & shirt would also be made of solidified lard)

Jesus fuck! 54kgs? I'm 6'5 (197cm) and managed to get down to 87 kgs. Supposedly normal BMI and all that, but still feel like a fat slob. I need to starve myself some more. I saw your photo, were you a stunt double on the machinist?

A bunch of years back I used to be like 125 kgs, the things I miss are being able to sit comfortably on all the things, and being able to rest my arm on my belly when sleeping on the side. Now I can't sleep on the side without a pillow or woman.

lol nah i wasn't on that film, if i had been i probably could've earned some money. but Bale is a method actor, as i'm sure we all know.

i seriously hate being this thin. it's a bad combination of having a naturally high metabolism (inherited from my father's side of the family) and being a fussy eater. my weight and skinnyness is one of the main reasons why i hate my physical appearance

that is quite skinny indeed

when walking, do you ever see two cars parked a bit close and accept their challenge? i get a little fascinated with squeezing through obstacles in general but particularly whenever my weight drops.

You lost weight in the absence of carbohydrate because of ketogenesis. Your body turns fatty acids into ketones which then circulate through your blood stream to be used as fuel rather than glucose. Gluconeogensis handles the anything that requires glucose.

For your information ketogenic diets are notoriously effective at causing weight loss by restoring insulin and leptin hormone function and thereby keeping you in a state of burning off food rather than storing it pretty much 24/7. There also is little evidence to suggest it is unsafe to be in ketosis for long periods of time, though honestly noone knows.

Eating this way takes advantage of what seems to be an evolutionary adaptation to keep us alive when food wasn't always so accessible to us. In our modern obesogenic world where cheap carby processed food is everywhere it makes us fatter.

Some concerns about your method would be:

1. Ensure adequate macronutrient intake. If you're eating nothing but muscle meat and no offal, you're not getting enough nutrients. Either eat offal or up your vegetable/fruits a little.

2. Eating a very low or zero carbohydrate diet means your body is going to start turning fatty acids into fuel. You need fat, ideally saturated fat and lots of it. I would imagine a high protein, low fat, low carb diet is not a good thing whatsoever.

Anyways congrats on discovering keto for weight loss.. Enjoy not feeling hungry much ever, and 2 meals a day is fine as long as you eat plenty of fat and nutes to last through the fasting.

Insulin sensitivity rules :)
