NBA PLAYOFFS 2015

NBA was a massive thing in the uk around 2000 after the Bulls 3peats, but then it kinda lost its momentum pretty quickly. The sports council has kept cutting back uk bball funding and its now nonexistent which is sad especially for our budding Olympics team.

I still like basketball but its never on the TV. There used to be a weekly printed paper, Slam Dunk

Long-time NBA watcher.

Playoffs this year are pretty tricky. Not sure who's gonna take it. Most of the teams looked pretty good during the regular season but are untested in the playoffs, or are getting on in years and you don't know if they'll hold out long enough for a deep run.

Lots of the media seems to be favoring the Warriors, but I think they could be rattled in a tough series with a physical team. They also rely on the 3-ball a lot so that could go either way.

Yeah, I worry about what happens if/when they meet Memphis.

Looks like Rick Carlysle and Rajon Rondo had some kind of falling out. Looks like they are shooing him off the team in a slightly discreet manner.

San Antonio has been patchy. One game they look old and tired, another they look like they did last year when they took the Championship.

Wouldn't wager on any of the matchups past the first round.

Dallas Mavericks fan here...unfortunately though since they seem to be on a downward spiral right now.

Houston has played well, but they have gotten much resistance from the Mavs. I'm interested to see how they fare next round.

Spurs/Clips is easily the best series so far and I haven't even watched a game to know that!

It's great that Anthony Davis and the Pelicans made it to the post season over OKC so the Brow can get some real experience.

East is pretty much a joke so far as everyone thought they would be.

Yeah, they are seemingly the type of offensive juggernaut that can take on all challengers with a more than formidable defense, and Memphis has their troubles scoring without playing good defensive teams so I see GS making it a decisive series win over Memphis. I just don't see how the Grizz can score enough???

Steph is God

Dude can play, no doubt, but the Warriors really shouldn't be getting into overtime games with the Pelicans. Makes me think they will struggle in the next round.

yar, Steph is just insane. Seems like work ethic and genes coalesced into a perfect modern pg.

Jae Crowder is tearing it up for the Celts and as a Mavs fan I was upset we traded him the moment it happened, but now even more so since the Rondo meltdown...ah well, just gotta wish him the best and move on!

yeah Rondo was clearly unhappy and wasn't going to be what he was in Boston for Dallas. He was pretty much allowed to do what he wanted in Boston and with so much talent on Dallas' roster it just wasn't going to be the same situation.

I've got no affinity for the Nets or Bucks, but seeing either of them advance would be awesome beyond words. Whatever the case, it looks like the Hawks ain't ready this.
