Lost In Rave

The drums could use a bit compression, because they seem to be drowning in the many layers of synths. Near the end you can barely hear the kick ;)

It's not really my kind of music but I can definitely see what you're going for :)

ignoring the mix the track is really well done. it drives forward nicely and there is plenty of variation.

if you do tamper with the mix at all i'd watch those levels, it's very loud and it's hard to listen to the finer details with the main synths being as loud as they are. the drums and bass do get a bit lost in the latter half. wouldn't take much work to get it sharpened imo.

it's not particularly my kinda music either but i dug it!

Interesting. Nicely arranged, but mostly I haven't heard this style before. It's like a kind of an acidy-chiptune style. Thanks for posting this. I'm always up for gallivanting into new styles. This isn't one I'd dive into, but again, an interesting listen. Would be interested in hearing a variety of tracks in this idea vein to see if any of it clicks with me. Problem is, I'm not into chiptune-like sounds for the most part. Can't knock it till I try it, though.

Cheers.

That melody is great. Like said before the only problem I really have is the mix. The arrangement and style is up my ally for sure. The melody is great something I could listen to over and over. keep it up. You should look into trying to give the song a better mix cuz it has a lot of potential

Sounds like something I would've listened to back in my comedown mornings. I agree that the kick could sit better in the mix. I also think some sort of dynamic variation could serve the track well. Like some swells, mutes, instrument drop-outs, stuff like that. Other than that, very pleasant.

Agreed with this, I like it but - especially near the end - it feels like an intimidating wall of noise without that dynamic variation in tone. A lot on the ears for a track that's so chill. Definitely vibin' with the melodies though, but I would throw a spectrum analyzer on there and see if you've got any frequency buildups. Nice tune.
