  1. Haha, bored, but still creative! I need to create a custom Member Group for Photoshop Experts! Also, anyone who thinks Analord was anything short of amazing needs to get their head and ears checked. (IMO)
  2. You didn't use the shot with the Metal Slime USB cover: LOL, that's totally not Photoshopped! But it really does come with that. In other news, seems a White PS4 will come out October 9 in Japan, and not with Destiny. I wonder how long (if ever) will it be until it comes here?
  3. One of my favourite Aphex videos/songs - although Richard hated the video so much, the only place you can get it is on the Japanese version of Come To Viddy. ...says the guy with the Shingeki No Kyojin avatar!
  4. The art style reminds me of Wagon Christ's album, Musipal:
  5. Also, FLOL @ "manifests his enjoyment" - gotta use that when I order lunch today: ME: "Yes, I'm manifesting my enjoyment of a hamburger and french fries - please dispatch it with little haste, my underprivileged wage-slave." WORKER: "Who you callin' a slave, muthafucka? You want a goddamn burger or what, you crazy-ass cracker."
  6. Joyrex manifests his enjoyment for this fleak. What does it mean?? It simply means I like the track - I don't dislike something just because it's a fake or whatnot... good music is good music, regardless of the intentions behind it.
  7. That's right - the amounts are divided by the amount of pressings done... as far as I know.
  8. Yeah, there's a six-minute long gameplay video that really shows off what it will be like. Is it just me, or are the visuals slightly better than PS3 Dark Souls II? I know it's early, but with games like InFamous: Second Son and others really upping the bar for graphic quality on PS4, I would expect this to look a bit nicer... still very nice though!
  9. The Analord binder had nothing to do with Rephlex closing... that was in 2005! It lasted another 8 years after that! 2+2 = derp They probably realized they can make money off a release and capitalize on the SYRO hype. which "they" are we talking about? the piano track is still here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJHsT8kEyzs (as well as soundcloud above. thanks for reposting Kavinsky!) They being WARP or the Barbican - I know I would pay for a nice Blu-Ray of the performance...
  10. Honestly, as logically as you might think that would work, the reality is you need a lot of capital to release a record properly - there are so many incidental costs associated with releasing something, that unless you have coffers capable of absorbing those costs, it quickly becomes unsustainable to continuously release things, and give each release the same level of exposure, promotion, etc. AND turn somewhat of a profit. Also: Where did you hear or get that DruKQs was ever considered for Rephlex? AFAIK, it was always going to come out on WARP, to satisfy the Warner Bros advance, and fulfil the terms of the contract with WARP. And I hardly think Richard is "selling himself off" - the man hasn't released any music in over 7 years - hardly skint, I would imagine.

  12. A bit more to it than that, but essentially, yes.
  13. LOL @ "Super Mario Cats" - that should have been the name instead of Super Mario 3D World Wii U. The game is very long and very satisfying - especially if you are a completist when it comes to these kind of games. rad. we just got the wii u about a month ago and blazed through 100%ing nsmbu together. if it's at least as long as that i'll be satisfied although so far it's seemed pretty easy and we burned through the first two worlds pretty quickly I'd say it's longer... the most annoying thing is completing it with all 5 characters... yes, there is a hidden character. Won't spoil it if you don't already know. you mean at once? 5th character? ;O Not at once, but you must complete each map with each character...
  14. There are pictures floating about of Richard on set in Los Angeles where they filmed it playing chess... Can't remember that one! I did found these though: Yeah, there was one with him sitting with his head on his hand, Thinker-like, staring at a chessboard with the Californian sunset as a backdrop... I have it somewhere in my archives, I'm sure, or it was on the director-file website...

  17. Can't wait to see the rest of it. Dig the Tuss confirmation... and it sounds like he's (re?)warming up to the big label doing the work for him. I've heard from several producers that releasing everything on your own label is a huge pain in the ass. Trust me, it is - after doing the Kickstarter and my own digipak thing, I have experienced a bit of Grant's pain - a lot of people forget that Rephlex really is just Grant behind it all - it really is awesome he practically ran the label by himself for over 20 years... That's been standard WARP payouts for a long time now. That just solves part of the digital distribution/storefront issues - you still deal with royalty payouts, license fees, publisher fees, etc. - and that's the bulk of the work. On top of that, physical distribution - you either pay a company to do fulfillment for you and reduce your already meager profit margins, or you suck it up and do it yourself, spending countless hours packaging, posting, etc. And then deal with lost parcels, damage, refunds... blergh!
  18. Because until it's announced, it remains a possibility - just like SYRO was imminent, but didn't know exactly when (well, not everyone was unaware of when).

  20. Calgary, sadly! More than a "stones throw" away from you! WOOT I'm in calgary also. Represent Sorry about Tim Horton's Yea, sorry. If we know anything about BK's track record, well, goodbye Tim Horton's... Yeah, but Wendy's (a hamburger chain here in the States) owned Timmy's for a bit, so it's not like this spells doom for Timmy's - if anything, it hopefully means Americans will finally get more exposure to double doubles and decent coffee that's not served by a topless mermaid. Joyrex, burger king, which I frequent often, doesn't know what they want to be. Constantly changing menus, fries, everything. Out of fast food chains in my area, they are the most poorly maintaned, staffed & longest wait times with minimal customers compared to the other big hitters. If it weren't for the great coupons & proximity to work, I wouldn't bother with them. Always a long wait. always... I hope Tim Hortons survives their plan, whatever it is & no matter how often they change it. Which they will change...and change...and change. Burger King has always tempted me with the variety in their menu, but almost every time I dare to eat there, I end up with really noxious gas (I mean even I can't stand it), or a horrible case of the shits.

Surprised you said that, I've heard nothing but bad things about Timmy Ho's coffee *sidenote, I don't drink coffee but I do live near a Tim Hortons* I really liked it when I was up in Canada last year - I have no idea if the Stateside Timmy's are up to the same standards as the domestic ones are.
  22. Dark Souls II DLC #2 is out - brutally hard! Really like the new enemies (even though they were hiding on the original game disc all along). Haven't found a boss yet, and barely managed to find two bonfires so far.
