As an American deep in Trump-land (the South), I apologize for all the people I've grown up around here and in Texas, where I grew up as well. I have lots of friends who voted against him and/or wouldn't vote for him. But it was never enough. It's difficult to grow up around that kind of ignorance.
Same here. We're a minority down in the south, but there are plenty of us "dirty libs" down south.
Though if anyone asks, I'm a republican and respect Mein Fuehrer.

2016 is the worst year I have ever known. For so many reasons. It really has been relentlessly fucking grim.
It's been bad for so many close to me and not amazing for myself. So I feel this.
It has been the worst for me ever, unequivocally, as well. And I'm 31 which isn't doesn't make me mr. wise man, but it isn't the same as the bad year I thought I had when I was 23. My family has been through the ringer and it's tempting to get into personal details, but I never do that on the internet. This is the darkest timeline.No joke.

So, what's the deal with the Juno mission? Kind of thought we'd have a bunch of amazing pictures of Jupiter by now. I know there are higher priorities for astronomers than pictures but still, just wondering.

Any activity between two or more people is fine as long as it's what all of the people want to do and no one is being harmed. But as soon as there's a hint that you might have killed somebody or multiple people, here come the left with their "murder police'.

What's with the lens !! Aren't the japanese famous for making decent cameras. Surely even though the sun is coming from the side they could have gotten a better sourced image than this. Also, i didn't realise that the moon was so bumpy.
