Interested in switching to Bitwig but was going to wait until Ableton 11 to see if it makes sense to switch. Idk, a little underwhelmed with the features and not sure if it warrants a new version. Would have expected to see this stuff in a mid version update like what they did with Live 9. It's definitely a step forward but just not far enough for a charged version update imo
The Grid alone in Bitwig makes me want to switch. Any thoughts from bitwig/ableton owners?

I like the album but would rank it below Room(s), Vapor City, and Human Energy. It's very consistent but unfortunately sounds generic at times. I feel like if it were just playing and I didn't know the artist, I wouldn't have guessed it was Machinedrum. Freddie Gibbs is great as always tho.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Thinking of running with this idea and making a few more tracks in the same style.

Really nice jam, love how the atmosphere seems to kind of poke through the beat. It would be nice to change up the sound palette a bit for variety. Lot of good ideas in here.

Hi guys,
A new release -- a compilation on Naviar Records -- is out now, featuring my track True Tranquility.
Check it out here:

Enjoy!
This track seems to breathe, really lush. I'm hearing guitar, is it mainly a lot of looped and layered guitar parts?

Listened to all end in the dark last night. Went into it after a casual listen think it was just the ending of bladelores stretched out. It some ways thats how it breaks down but surprised to discover how many layers come in and out of that song. Also, really cool use of volume changes as well as a sort of sidechain rhythmic effect. IDK, the song is so dense its hard to tell what's real and what's imagined.

half the people on my street have them.. including me.. and some people have signs in their windows. it's a good way to remind the idiots who come to portland from vancouver washington and drive around in their big ass trucks.. speeding through neighborhoods w/big trump flags waving from their trucks.. sometimes actually attacking people on the street (has happened a few times bt mostly downtown area or dense SE portland) that they are not welcome.. their bullshit doesn't fly etc etc.. there's a black church a block from me so i think that has something to do w/it to.
overall i think it's a pssive show of support.
there is a senior couple down the block w/home made signs. .one says "The Pig Is not My President" and that has been u psince trump was elected.. and the other one says "VOTE Nov. 2020 - Eject the PIG from our house".. right in the middle of their really nice garden.
I have an almost identical thing in my neighborhood. One of the houses has been counting down the days of the Trump presidency. So a few years ago it was like "1036 Days Left", now it says something like "216 Days Left". I guess they were right that he wouldn't get removed from office from the impeachment...

Why is watching those things topple over so damn funny?
Also, why are they always towers? Why not have water spheres just hanging out at/near ground level?

Been messing with this the last couple weeks. Always wanted to build a eurorack but lacked the disposable funds to do so. It's great being able to scratch that itch and explore modular synthesis free. Love being able to copy and paste modules (almost feels like cheating).
Might buy some premium modules down the line to support the dev but the amount of free ones makes the paid ones non-essential

The line at the end "it was created by machines, it is not me" has such crazy implications. It's also very IDM

You guys ever deal with this weird dog bark deterrent device that emits a high pitch frequency to get dogs to stop barking? Came home one day and heard that sound everywhere outside and in my apartment. Turns out my neighbor is having issues with a dog in the general area so he blasts that sound.
Told him to turn it off because everyone can hear it and now its becoming an issue. Could literally feel my hearing dip from being exposed to high frequencies too long.
Any of you guys hear this, I know younger people can hear it a lot better than older people but i find it strange they would release something on the market that also fucks with people.

Really nice track overall, drums sound crisp and alive (not midi programmed?)
Also like the transitions and the part where the beat drops out.
Good job
