    i had hash last night for the first time in a long time. a lot of it, too. had me feeling like this

    I had a few hits off a small grass joint last night, and was the same. my tolerance is so low now (only smoke a handful of times a year), was fucked for hours afterwards. was eating some hazelnut chocolate and was convinced the hazelnuts were actually tinfoil.

     

     

    Same. Its dangerous to smoke weed in california. I need the beer equivalent for weed, everyone is essentially smoking absinthe

    Here's what we know so far, according to California authorities.
    -- One person has died in a fire in Mendocino County.
    -- More than 100 people were being treated at Napa- and Sonoma-area hospitals for fire-related injuries or health issues including burns, smoke inhalation and shortness of breath. 
    -- An estimated 1,500 structures have been destroyed and 57,000 acres burned in eight counties.
    -- A wildfire in Anaheim, in Southern California, has spread to 2,000 acres and some homes were reported burning.
    The fires ignited Sunday night and Monday and spread with alarming speed because of dry conditions, Cal Fire Director Ken Pimlott said at a news conference, with more than 20,000 people evacuating.

     

    Yee, this  hit really close to home no pun intended. I grew up in Santa Rosa. Called all of my friends and family, one of my friends lost his house. Thankfully my family lives in a relatively safe zone. 

     

    Don't really know how to process these images of completely levelled and unrecognizable neighborhoods.

    eh, I've only been on 2 dates but I'm already fed up.

     

    The process on my side of things has been: browse 100 profiles, message around 20 promising ones, get maybe 10 replies back, of them 5 will turn into actual convos, leading to one date.

    Then you have a drink somewhere for a few hours, have pretty good and varied conversation. The following day they will message you and say they had fun but unfortunately they don't think it'll go anywhere "good luck!"

    Romantically rejected twice in one day.

     

    One by a real life person, coffee shop girl I flirted with for about a week, multiple winks and general vibe of "im into you." Ends up having a boyfriend

     

    Second is Okcupid girl, hit it off great at the beginning, 4 hour long conversation in chat, texting for a few days. Trying to plan a date and she eventually just tells me theres another guy she's more serious with.

     

    I just really dont get it, at least they were honest rejections but shit, I've been at it for a few months now and its the same cycle of rejection. I haven't had a real date 6 months.

    Haha yeah that was one of them.  Although Marc Maron became really weird towards the end of that interview... he handled that one terribly.  I think they were feeding off each other.  Maron's usually pretty good, but he doesn't handle other peoples' crazy well at all.  I think it was actually reasonable for Gallagher to walk out of that interview, which is saying something.

     

    I think its very telling I haven't heard of this guy until today. Really can't understand why people consider him a "legendary" comedian
