If we know anything about BK's track record, well, goodbye Tim Horton's... Yeah, but Wendy's (a hamburger chain here in the States) owned Timmy's for a bit, so it's not like this spells doom for Timmy's - if anything, it hopefully means Americans will finally get more exposure to double doubles and decent coffee that's not served by a topless mermaid. Joyrex, burger king, which I frequent often, doesn't know what they want to be. Constantly changing menus, fries, everything. Out of fast food chains in my area, they are the most poorly maintaned, staffed & longest wait times with minimal customers compared to the other big hitters. If it weren't for the great coupons & proximity to work, I wouldn't bother with them. Always a long wait. always... I hope Tim Hortons survives their plan, whatever it is & no matter how often they change it. Which they will change...and change...and change. They have already stated they will maintain separate operations and that the merger is just for a tax shelter. I suppose we shall see!

Also timmies food is pretty good, if not a bit expensive. Sandwhiches are good/fresh ingredients (doesn't taste like chemicals like subway). lol we're talking about Tim Hortons in the new Aphex thread.

very true - as I catch-up on this thread, I'm listening to my daughter on the piano, having 'motivated' her to put in her daily practice. maybe once aphex jr. starts releasing more music we can add him to the artists subforum section of watmm. by then joyrex jr. can take the helm moderating. maybe? hopefully there's a Stephen Jr. to post 8000 contentless posts in 2.5 years by then too lol

They almost always get a bonus track. Like Sean from Autechre said: "really it's just the fact that CDs are so expensive there that they need something exclusive, otherwise everyone buys the import" So here's a thought. Put the bonus track on the rest of world release and let the Japanese people import it for cheaper while simultaneously not shafting the fans that live in the rest of the world. Sure it's all great for Japan, but now the rest of the world has to pay ridiculously high import costs to order the complete version only sold in Japan lol.

My point is, how could colunga be making bootlegs of AB5 in 2002 when it wasn't given away/in the general publics hands until 2005 lol am I englishing improperlies? I think it was already ripped before 2005. I still have a really old bad rip but I'm not sure about the date... Yeah i remember having a shitty rip from before 2005. Then downloading it again after Analord release and being blown away at how good quality it was. I still havent listened to the joyrex tape cause the quality is a little too shitty for me.. Interesting! I didn't know that. Thanks for the tidbit. I really thought that white label that came with the binders was the first the world saw of it. learn something new every day =)

You can apply for a 60 day tourist visa from your home country before going to Thailand, then extend it for 30 days once you're in, at immigration, painlessly. Yeah I was mostly around khao-san. Large chang beer (the 650ml bottles) were $1.25 canadian. I was with a large group though maybe we were getting discounts?

I didn't find it expensive at all. $1 for a meal with a beer isn't so bad? And rooms were around $10 a night at hostels.

I'm shocked by him not getting served with a lawsuit. Unless Aphex is waiting until kanye makes all his money on it and then suing him for royalties lol. Sounds like they never authorized it.
