one lil bump for y'all come play! also, this is the best shader out there. highly recommended way to make the game more interesting/captivating again. i wish there were more games with the unique pace of mc... i do feel the charm has worn a bit, seems like there would be more tasteful successors than there are. anyway, hope to see some of you on sometime <3 our server is alive, but could use some more players if any of you are interested. post your name for whitelist.
  2. a consolidation of old work and new work under a new name abiogenist future past/empyrean it's messy but in ways that i still admire, to this day check it o u t <3
  3. this exists and is alright some parts are freakin OUTSTANDING tho
  4. Tropical Malady - Loved the first half, was ready to love the second half, and then, all of a sudden, it's like Weerasethakul gave up on the subtle, poetic, surreal quality he was working with. The part about ghosts/spirits is less dreamlike than the romance. A lot of stuff is just spelled out through intertitles. It's a bummer, because I think they're supposed to intertwine and mirror one another, which simply didn't work for me with the atonality.
  5. Kaili Blues - lovely film, bit uneven but phenomenal for a first feature - highly recommended if you dig low fantasy/psychological stuff also rewatched The Witch and now can safely say it's among my very favorite horror films (and films in general). SO GOOD, WHY CAN'T EVERY HORROR FILM BE AWESOME AND TASTEFUL AND CREATIVE AND STYLIN that would make life so much more bearable

currently running a very ethereal and vibey server with the goal of building beautiful shared spaces - core group is me and my buddies from my label/collective, finity. ip is 167.114.85.197:25565 please be kind and keep things cryptic/beautiful/odd and contribute to the landscape feel free to venture out but do establish a homestead on the main isle also i recommend u use shaders. <3
  9. bon iver goes idm (love this shit, very original production, definitely yeezus-inspired as some of you called out)
  10. Thank you! Glad you can appreciate the spontaneity/craziness. Gold Panda is definitely an influence to some extent, love his minimal stuff. Appreciate the comparison! The distortion you're hearing comes from some varying combination of the lo-fi compressor from the sp-555 and the gain/trim knob on my kaossilator. Sorry to hear about your fallen pedal, man. I've got a moog analog distortion that I almost threw in the mix but left out to keep some clarity in the samples.
  11. Yeah ae are a big influence on me, it's pretty obvious. I'm working quite differently from them though, using almost entirely hardware - in the early days it was mostly just chopping up stuff i programmed on my phone with my kaossilator, but now i've incorporated a sp-555 and some pedals for texture.
  12. NEW THING. It's called Taker. It's all over the place. It's available here. Any feedback is welcomed. Not really sure what to think of it at the moment. Love,
  13. The editing is so crazy. This record screams "I'M EXPERIMENTAL" but like I'm kind of in love with it for that.
  14. Babylon 5, started roughly 3 weeks ago. SO GOOD. Took a few episodes to get the feel, but now I can't stop watching. Dated but still super engaging.

    elseq 1-5

Elseq 4 is a masterpiece (up there with my very fav ae) and Elseq 1 and 5 are also dope. 2 and 3 put me to sleep - super bloated and forgettable, which sucks, considering they're weighing down some really good stuff otherwise. Just my opinion, obviously. foldfree casual is like Quaristice, Oversteps, and Exai all smashed together and it's glorious.
