What is the meaning of that Sean (klang) remark? Is it that Sean isn't human but sound entity?

    sean is kd lang

Why are you telling me this knowing that it's not truth?

Nothing is true, everything is Sean Booth

-Hassan-i Sabbah (Arthur Schopenhauer (Sean Booth))

Who do you think you are, a klang?

Perhaps there's a third member in Autechre...

So the piano is the new pixelated in Japanese export production?

  2.

Speaking of Draft 7.30, does anyone know much about the "original track titles" floating around?

    Benk Chin

    Nwnw8

    606.ie

    Reppat

    Theft

    Prince Moth Mothy Moth Moth

    Vlimpton Alpha 5

    Foam Conduit

    Uprock

    Kidney Bean

Where are those title from? I never saw them floating around anywhere until today.

I want to know too. They look very realistic

  3. This should be another thread, but question for fellow watmmers:

Is there ever gonna be another nin? another band/artist/musician/figurehead who has evoked such power and musical edge and influenced the music industry in such a way with both underground and mainstream appeal.. both cult and pop sensibilities while maintaining an ability to stay mysterious, interesting and "punk rock" in their own way?

NIN never was such a band, it always had commercial sound. As an outsider, i think you're very overestimating their influence outside of pop and teen circles. Freaky and raw stuff lives in the margins. Anyway if you want examples of mainstream punk rock spirit, well, how about Pussy Riot sitting in jail for a perfomance of straight-up punk rock song. Another recent example is Death Grips, who were on a major until they fucked it up intentionally.

  4. "EVOL have surpassed themselves on a new mix for iDEAL that takes things to – and, let’s be frank, well beyond – the brink of insanity. Over 14minutes, the pair stitch together 300+ acid classics into a bewildering collage that sounds like John Oswald on, well, acid. Pretty much anyone that’s ever picked up a TB-303 is on the tracklist, with DJ Pierre, Mr Fingers, 808 State, Virgo, Plasticman and Rovert Owens all appearing. The bulk of the tracks hail from the classic 1988-1991 window, but there a stash of more contemporary material from the likes of Arbeid Adelt? and Human Action Network too. Nothing sticks around much longer than three seconds, making for arguably the year’s most bewildering/sanity-busting listen."

  5. luul football aint real, clueless presenters, moral is lost

The presenters dont get it, they just dont fucking get it

That's all truth. It is known that initially he wanted to buy Man Utd, but it wasn't available at the time, then he had a choice between Tottenham and Chelsea. Until recently he was financing Russian national team coach's large contracts and youth academy. Many oligarchs are coming as main sponsors into football and other sports on national scale now. Some examples include Prokhorov, also owner of NBA's Brooklyn Nets, Kerimov, who is making European top club out of Anji in the poorest and most conflicting region of Russia, and lately Rybolovlev, who signed Falcao and FC Porto stars for many millions at Monaco. Latter is autonomous yet, but he certainly learnt his strategy from Abramovich.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas dreams of Dakar Rally

While he is loving his role at Tottenham, Villas-Boas does not think he will remain in football beyond the next decade and he would like to explore other interests, including the Dakar Rally, the world's most famous off-road motorsport event.
"My passion for football makes me live it very intensively over 11 months and dedicate myself to that, but I think life allows you to enjoy other things," he is quoted as telling Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
"For me, there is a limit and, in the next five to 10 years, I will quit coaching.
"To compete in the Dakar Rally is a lifetime ambition for me and is something I know I have to do.
"It went from a passion to an obligation, a destination of life, but I can only do it when I leave football. I will do it."
Villas-Boas added: "I just want to be proud of my career. I try to play good football with the teams I join and this is the recognition that fulfils me.
"I do not know where my career will take me. What I do know is that it will not last too long."

It just craves for 'shop, sorry i'm not down with the chops myself

  7. why do they do that? they always put the singer in front of the rest of the band in promo shots

For the same reason the singer is usually called frontman. Sean is always closer because he's way lower than Rob in height. It just happens that Rob is mellow and Sean is fucking intense. Love that picture, it hink they look better with age, unlike many british men including rock and industrial music stars.

  8. Listened to the album's leak out of curiosity - that's actually decent stuff, a bit shocking to hear ultra mainstream artist go all grime, like, truly. And what's striking is how crisp it sounds. The only part i can't enjoy at all is his rapping, though it's miles away from his usual gayfish dribble on most tracks.

  9. These two are very decent for me. Pimp one for the general swag dicks eat 'em, grey one for tender elegancy.

  10. By the way, i think these transfers would do more harm to Bayern than to Dortmund.

Morally, they were always like that in Germany. Nothing changed aside from german final, though you can recall Bayer Leverkusen in CL final against Madrid Galacticos squad. Ballack, Lucio, Ze Roberto, Butt - all ended up in Bayern soon enough. It was more crucial for the internal intrigue, because as you can see that despite Nuri Sahin and Kagawa being the best in the respective seasons, Gundogan and Reus became no less.

Now Goetze and Lewandowski in Munich, i don't know. With Kroos, Muller and Ribery - where would Goetze play? Another thing is Robben. He wasn't starter before Kroos injury, but he was the one who had the most will to win, for all his chances he was the only one to make them. He teared Barca apart. Now he is a spare part. Mandjukic was extremely important tactically for his pressing and target man skills. How would they use Lewandowski for the same effectiveness? Gomez was also very good at striking goals and he lost his place.
