    Just watched a snippet of that clip. When we have a POTUS who's getting ripped by one of the well-known reporters of a news agency loyal to his own party, you KNOW he is a fuck-up. And everyone who's still loyal to that bloated gibbon at this point just has a fetish for authoritarians in general. Just an irresistible allure to inept assholes, like insecure girls from high school with daddy issues. I've heard that it's not gonna end well for us. But I'm convinced that it's not gonna end well for him.

    You're thinking of of Buffalo wings. Totally worth it tbqh. I cooked up Buffalo chicken strips with mac & cheese one time. But my stomach did NOT agree. (Why did I use two "of's" in that sentence earlier?) For some reason I've been craving beer with fish & chips lately. I also want to make my own Pad Thai. Goals for next week.

    Just recently got into participating in online surveys for extra scratch. But it seems like 2 out of every 3 that I select I get disqualified from. Very much a hit-and-miss gig. Kinda like fishing innit.

    I made my own "Bulletproof" coffee. Melted butter and coconut oil in the mug in the microwave, then poured French press-brewed coffee on top, and sifted ground cinnamon into it. I don't think buttered/oiled coffee is a new concept. I know there's some place in Africa where they add butter to their coffee too, but I forgot where.

    If we've learned anything from last year, it's that a shitty presidential election generally yields a shitty president-elect. But maybe three years from now most of us will be woke by then. I hope. It's the electoral college tho I'm really worried about.

    Was waken up this morning by a sharp cramp in my left shin. Still feels a little sore. These dormant shin cramps only seem to happen once or twice a year, but they hurt like hell.

    The Seattle city council just voted to cut ties with Wells Fargo, which is tied to Dakota Access. Though I'm not sure how big of an impact it would make in financially starving the pipeline project. The DAPL crisis is significant both ecologically and as a humanitarian issue. The Lakota and the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation are the same ones being affected by this as their ancestors in the Wounded Knee massacre just over 126 years ago. Back then the belligerents were the US Army's 7th Cavalry. Now it's militarized law enforcement and private security. But at least this time it hasn't actually escalated into all-out war...yet. Dec. 4th last year was when that group of veterans (including congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard) joined the Water Protectors at the Oceti Sakowin camp - the same day the Army (temporarily) halted construction of the pipeline. But this was still before Trump took office. Not sure how it's gonna go down from here on out. Standing Rock definitely has more protests planned. DAPL will probably finish construction, but the Lakota have little to lose at this point, and they sure as hell don't intend on backing down.

    All I can say is: 6 Nov 2018. We gotta vote out the trash and flip Congress, or at least the Senate. Crossing my fingers the GOP won't get away with some kind of gerrymandering or voter suppression tactics when the time comes.

    Bioshock Infinite, four years later. I recall Salvatorin saying something right after the election about America today resembling it. Talk about a retro-prophecy.. "Psst. I'm not one of them. I'm a Progressive." I never imagined meeting that one dude hiding in the lower level of the Lansdowne residence would have such profound symbolism.
