Grilled up fillets from same fish I caught yesterday and shared them at dinner. They were a hit, even though I accidentally charred a couple of them.

Caught two sockeye salmon yesterday with a dip net. Not as much as I'd hoped for, but it's better than coming home empty-handed.

Don't necessarily expect any response to this post, but I've been "farming" the shit out of Pyro Pete the Invincible in Borderlands 2 for the past week, seeing what kind of Legendary goodies he'd drop. Even tho he doesn't drop them every time, Purple loot is usually good enough. Soon as I get t tired of doing that I think I'll start a new Fallout: NV playthough w/ the Project Nevada mod. Pretty good mod, in that on top of some new guns and weapon mods you can get cybernetic implants, and not just from Dr. Usanagi. As before, I won't buy any new games until probably October, specifically when Fallout 4 and XCOM 2 pre-loading becomes available.

Recently subscribed to a FB page intended to expose truths that aren't covered by mainstream media outlets. But when people start dropping the I-word I begin to have second thoughts. I know most mainstream media is sensationalized bullshit, but at the same time I don't wanna be associated with a bunch of crazies.

Watched a vid on FB of a woman trying to smash the window open of a car attempting to rescue a 2-year-old girl trapped inside in hot weather, with about 10 people standing there watching and doing nothing. Another strikeout for humanity, to put it nicely. But what causes people to become complacent vegetables nowadays? Have smartphones and social media rendered them brain-damaged?

^ lol at FBlock. Political debates can turn into a shitstorm fast, whether it be on FB or anywhere else on the internet. Anyone who's polarized on the political spectrum tends to be paranoid and delusional, no matter which side they're on. Latest FWP is a "problem" coworker. Wouldn't reply when I say "good morning" yet takes any opportunity he can to peddle his religious beliefs on me, and works slower than I do, even though I'm more than a decade his senior. Been giving him rides home from work since he's reduced to walking to work every morning, more out of pity than anything. I might stop offering rides soon though, since he's a misogynistic, homophobic, preachy blabbermouth. Keeps trying to offer advice on how to succeed in life when he can't even get his own shit together. Everyone else @ work is cool except for this guy. He's only there short-term, and so far I've merely tolerated him, but I'm not sure how much patience I have left before I flat-out tell him to fuck off.

Was able to button up a shirt this morning I bought a year and a half ago with the tag still on. That wasn't the case until now. Looks like I've shed some weight since starting the veggie gig, even tho weight loss isn't the primary reason for my doing so. I'll shut up about the veggie thing now.
