The remasters are far superior to the old discs. Index was anyways re-released as a 12" under Helical Scan. Such an awesome track.

Carol Christian Poell object dyed rubber dipped trainers
1600eur for shoes that look like they might have come from Ed Gein's house?! Really?
-
I could see the above shoes going well with skin-tight jeans, a loose v-neck tee and black rimmed glasses.
ill bet 10 USD none of the ppl in this thread who "rock" skate shoes even skate
I wear skate shoes because they are comfy.
Mine are dark brown though and are getting rather loose and floppy. Need to buy some new ones.
For the slippery ice.
For hot days.

That dumb bitch in the video doesn't look like that other horrible skank. But dunno what 5kg of make-up can do.
-
She's looks horrible. I can't even imagine how horrible she'll look like in 20 years.

I think Alien 3 is a decent contribution to Alien franchise and it gets unfairly shit on. It didn't help that Fox had to meddle with it and mess it up. I liked the style of it, even if it's a slight rehash of the first movie.
As for Scott's other movies, the Kingdom of Heaven extended cut is supposedly much better than the original cut.

I couldn't figure out how that prequel would have really been an Alien film anyway
It would have probably shed light on what the Space Jockey and the derelict ship was or some sort of origin story for the xenomorphs. Personally I don't really care if there ever will be a continuation of the Alien franchise. Four movies is enough, with one of them already being a disaster.

We'll he hasn't done sci-fi since Blade Runner and that along with Alien are his stronger films. So maybe he re-discovers that spark. The last movie of his I saw was Body of Lies, which I thought was a decent espionage thriller although forgettable.

Los Angeles (January 14, 2011) __ Twentieth Century Fox announced today that Ridley Scott
will direct PROMETHEUS, an original science fiction epic, for worldwide release on March 9,
2012. The initial draft of the script was written by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour) from Scott's
idea. Damon Lindelof (Lost, Star Trek) and Scott have since been working together on the
current version which has expanded the story into new directions.
Story details are being closely guarded so as not to spoil surprises for moviegoers, but Scott
explained the outlines of the film and its genesis as follows: "While Alien was indeed the
jumping off point for this project, out of the creative process evolved a new, grand mythology
and universe in which this original story takes place. The keen fan will recognize strands of
Alien's DNA, so to speak, but the ideas tackled in this film are unique, large and provocative. I
couldn't be more pleased to have found the singular tale I'd been searching for, and finally return
to this genre that's so close to my heart."

If HR Giger is still onboard with this as he was supposedly with the Alien prequel, then I will get excited. Hopefully this sci-fi epic will be a return to form by Scott.

Already mentioned, but needs to get heard by more people.

I've always wanted to get into Gas but Nah und Fern costs a mint and everything else is rare as hen's teeth so I leave it alone. Love Voigt when he's on acid though. For a long time, him and the "Cologne sound" was all that I knew of acid until I got broader access to things with the internet and mail order.
31 bux is a mint?

it's because CCDs can pick up frequencies outside visible light. press a button on your tv remote control, and take a picture of it, you'll see the beam.
No, you don't. I tried and I saw nothing... NOTHING!
-
Rod Modell's album 'Altering Air' as Global Systems Silently Moving is very much like Gas.
-
Goddamnit, stop butchering their album names. It's Vakio and Osasto EP. And Kesto is 4 discs, the fourth being just one big track.
-
Aaltopiiri is a good place to start. Katodivaihe is also worth a look as is Kesto. Gravitoni is also a fine album. Be sure to check out Mika Vainio's solo stuff as Ø, awesome minimal techno and the Kolmio EP as Philus for more of the same. The Philus album Tetra is some disturbingly minimal clinical ambient.

Who is the architect of that complex? I remember seeing it before, but don't remember the architect.

It bugs me that the different CDs&sleeves don't have a more varied color scheme, should have gone with the same colors the original CDs had (apart from the first album, of course).
-
they have so many attacking midfielders at Arsenal, he would have been an expensive waterboy.
He fits in nicely at Liverpool, so defintely good move on Hodgson's part.
LOL at Puyol saying "Cesc deserves to come to the best club in the world". Funny, I don't recall seeing barca in the champions league final.
Maybe Puyol got confused between the Spanish national team and Barca.

Henry going to the MLS like many before him for that last big paycheck on the eve of his career. He should be good there as they like playing football with their hands.
