'Blinding Void' is the first EP by Exit Rituals; a new collaborative project from producer and composer Ital Tek and vocalist/songwriter Anneka. A pensive and introspective collection moving through smeared choral fragments, fractured acoustic recordings and soundscapes draped in fog. From its dissonant opening and Anneka's soaring vocals, light attempts to break through the dense atmosphere before culminating in sharp lacerating textures. Worked on in short bursts over the last few years, the project spans the birth of their two children and was a vessel for the couple to escape, vent and find inspiration in each other's creative process.
