  1. Augmatic Disport makes the ride worth it every damn time.
  2. It's no different from what they did last generation, from fat original PS3 to a super slim PS3, although the difference in specs was mainly power based, but it did improve performance. It was really easy to overheat the fat originals.
  3. The only difficulty regarding DS 2 DLC bosses was the amount of HP they had. Slugging out against that toxic dragon was a nightmare. However, to contradict myself, Fume Knight was fucking nails.
  4. No, it was Ratchet and Clank: Future - A Crack In Time. zzzzz. Keep in mind I had played all the previous R&C:F games on PS3 prior to that, so I guess I was just personally burnt out on the series. I'll wait until it goes bargain (digital) bin for 20 USD or less and pick it up on a lark. Platformers are getting more and more rare these days, despite the indy game market trying to revive them to an extent. Into the Nexus was the last one, but I still agree with what you're saying.
  5. Me too, have been with the franchise since the beginning. I hope to God they bring it to PC because I don't got a PS4. :( edit: if you play games U is a gamer. Don't listen to that 'hardcore gamer' bullshit, those people never have any fun Highly unlikely Ratchet and Clank will come to any other platform other than Sony ones... but never say never. Burned through TwiPri in less than 30 hours - fun game, but forgettable (in comparison to other Zelda games). Wished they had done Skyward Sword instead since I haven't finished that one yet. I disagree, I think it's one of the best Zeldas in terms of its tone. And a far better game than Skyward Sword to boot, but I'm biased because the motion controls annoyed me to no end.
  6. Playing Dark Souls 2 on PS4 at the moment since I never played the DLC, shame I'm as disappointed as I was the first time I played it.
  7. Oh, and I preordered the first print edition of Star Fox Zero. I didn't really care until the most recent Nintendo Direct, game looks amazing.
  8. I caved and preordered Dark Souls III + Season Pass. Splitting it with a friend on my account, so it will cost me £35/$53ish
  9. can't stop playin'. went to bed in the middle of an 11 game streak in ranked and finally crack 2000lp and get silver. went to a big tournament this weekend but it was a bit of a mess. my sfv matches weren't going to start until 10pm at the earliest so i bailed on them. went 2-2 in a tekken 7 tournament which is okay. 0-2 in tag 2 though which is a bit disheartening but i honestly haven't played since this time last year (at the last tournament). seems like they're not gonna release the sfv update probably until after norcal regionals next weekend then there'll actually be a decent break before the next premier event on the capcom pro tour. tag2 top 3 was pretty fuckin' rad: https://www.twitch.tv/tekken/v/55589253 some good old fashioned north v south tekken grudge matches... I had no idea you competed, although I'm not surprised, you can chain pretty well. This is the most I've been into fighting games in general for a long time, I've even been playing Street Fighter X Tekken , although it's tough to handle on the Vita, too squidgy for my liking. I was gonna buy Guilty Gear Xrd Sign since it's on sale, but it's an obsolete version since there's no patches or DLC characters which is a shame. Tekken 7 looks dope, and I'm not even a fan.
  10. Whilst we're still waiting for a Street Fighter V update, I decided to buy SF Alpha 3 and SF III:Third Strike. It saddens me how much content Alpha 3 has in terms of modes, and it pretty much caters to the casual and hardcore player, World Tour mode is great but it has extra for those who can play on higher difficulties.
  11. Can't say I am a fan of it either; it's the only thing holding me back from getting it. But, as with Galak-Z, I was able to look past the art style and enjoy the game itself, so there's something in that. Hated Rogue Legacy's artwork at first too. By the way, what kind of fightstick do you use? I'm using an old SFIV MadCatz one, been looking at getting a HORI RAP KAI to replace it... And to stop having to use a DS4 to sync my "legacy controller"... i ended up getting this: http://store.madcatz.com/categories/fightsticks-category/Street-Fighter-5-Arcade-FightStick-Tournament-Edition-S-for-PS4-PS3.html to replace this guy it's basically the exact same layout with a ps3/ps4 pcb and a more cluttered turbo interface with l3+r3 buttons and touchpad nonsense. honestly not a huge fan of the skull artwrok but whateva. i might pull it off and wrap it in black vinyl when i have more time. it's $50 more than the hraps but i've never played with any of their proprietary sticks and buttons and just wanted to stick with sanwa and a formfactor i'm familiar with. it's a decent weight and feels rock solid. but yeah, it's really nice to not have your fucking stick de-sync in the middle of a ranked match :) oh, and btw, last week madcatz released xinput drivers for all their sfv branded ps3/ps4 stuff so they'll work on pc now too. sfv on pc doesn't support dinput so at first i couldn't use the same stick to play sfv on ps4 and pc -_- at least it's fixed now of course i still feel fucking ripped off for having to buy a $200 stick that has the exact same primary functions and connections. i haven't once used the touchpad, l3, or r3 buttons Bruh, should've just bought one of these.
  12. think i might dive into twilight princess hd after this weekend. also i should finally beat link to the past so i can play link between worlds ;O I don't know how much of a successor A Link Between Worlds (I need to complete it too) is apart from game design, but ALTTP is timeless. Doesn't matter if you play it now, or play it in 10 years time, it will always be amazing.
  13. I felt the controls hampered my enjoyment of it, especially when there are new factors such as shields deteriorating and stamina meters. It irritates me because it should've made me feel how Wind Waker did all those years ago, but waggling my hands blindsided my enjoyment of it instead. I forgot to mention re: Metroid Prime, those are some of the best Metroid games, the Gamecube originals being the best ones, the re-release on Wii are actually downgrades, in my opinion. No idea why Nintendo haven't bothered with a follow up, feels like the gamepad was made for a game like Metroid. For some reason, I completely left out Link's Awakening and Oracle of Ages/Seasons on the Zelda front, those are some fine games too. I no longer own them, sadly, and the price is too steep on the e-shop considering how easy it is to emulate them.
  14. Super Metroid is dope on 3DS, especially since you can play it with its original resolution. A Link To The Past is still amazing after all these years, I've been meaning to have a proper Zelda session with the following path: ALTTP -> A Link Between Worlds -> OoT -> MM -> Majoras Mask -> Wind Waker -> Twilight Princess, all of the older ones being the remasters. TP is one of the most underrated Zelda games, it's much better than Skyward Sword, but that's mainly because you're forced to play like a moron in the latter. I've only completed it once, and that was 10 years ago, so I'm looking forward to not remembering a thing. Hit 50 hours on New Vegas, gonna do all the DLC, wrap up all quests, then move onto Skyrim (with DLC) before jumping into Fallout 4. I've also been playing Trails in the Sky on Vita, but most of the above are eating up my time way more. PSN needs to have the old Street Fighter games on sale, because I've been jonesing them big time.
  15. We need to spar once the update comes out, maybe I'll learn something from the upcoming trials.
  16. Have been playing nothing but Fallout: New Vegas. Feels like there's more secrets in it compared to 3. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Back on the Street Fighter grind once the update comes out.
  17. what's the draw? it looks exactly like diablo 2/3. i mean, better graphics than 2 but not as good as 3 also ggs @northernfusion maybe sweep a little less (it's hella unsafe). try poking w/ d+mkxxfireball. definitely throw me more when i turtle up too. i'm highly susceptible to them still I had an off night (or did I? ), but you're right, it happens even online, I seem to lose that fraction to block if the sweep gets blocked. We should keep playing if you still want a punching bag, I learn more from a good player than I do from idiots in ranked who jump around and use the same 2-hit combo. Or maybe I'm the idiot if I'm playing them? Re: Throws, a lot of people don't expect them still, especially when they get close after downing you, but the reach distance seems inconsistent sometimes, but I think that's more because of the slight lag input of playing online with a wireless. It handles much better than SF IV believe it or not, even if it's severely lacking in content. The V triggers add a bit more depth than the focus attacks ever did (not saying they're bad, just saying they weren't that unique across characters). I also like the fact I can earn DLC characters, I can already afford 3 of them and I've only had the game for a week.
  18. GGs juice. I'm just glad I managed a round in our short matchup.
  19. Will add you both. Rubin, what modes do you play in Blops? I usually hang around Hardcore SnD/KC. I also own Borderlands and Journey but haven't made a dent in either.
