  1. I voted democrat in a county that will probably never go Democrat. In 2016 it was 79% Republican, 21% Democrat.... So you can make an argument that my vote is like.... 1/20th the importance of a vote in a swing state. If not lower.
  2. Anyone have good tips to avoid talking about politics? I have a feeling that most conservatives I know will want a go at me the next few weeks. Since they only know like.. 2 or 3 liberals and 100 other conservatives. I don't wanna be their "evil anti-christ'" Biden analog they can argue with.
  3. It's always a pickup truck isn't it? Lol. The reason people don't often parody Trump supporters much is because their contrived existence parodies itself. "As an American, I have the right to bare arms, assume that Trump is incapable is losing in a fair election, and drive comically massive pickup trucks in a subconcious attempt to show that I don't REALLY care about the environment, mostly because I don't understand how my small truck could damage it in anyway. I mean the liberal media is always talking about it, which automatically means it isn't true. So if they announce that Trump lost something, just say "FAKE NEWS! ORANGE MAN BAD!" if I am told I am destroying the environment, I will immediately default to saying: " 'Well China and India aren't doing anything - according to fox news -, so why should we?' - not understanding how stupid I sound when I make this argument, and how much Cringe I induce in those around me when I drive down the highway with the same 4 Trump flags all my neighbors are using since creative thinking isn't my strong suit. I am really only capable of understanding things at face value, which my glorious leader understands about me and knows how to use this fact for his gain. Good thing I won't live long enough to see how much I contributed to making my great grandkids lives miserable! MAGA 2020!" Plz forgive the long run on sentence paragraph thing above
  4. plz send a link. I love to browse these types of forums with a bag of popcorn on occasion
  5. I am guessing Trump has called the proud boys by now to tell them to stop standing by.
  6. Where is Sasha Baren Cohen when you need him to humiliate Rudy the Rube. I find it funny how everyone already knew how the conservatives were going to act due to mail in votes coming in later, like 6 weeks ago. We told them that they are going to act this way to their face, basically predicting the narrative they were going to push. And it is still happening exactly as predicted. But for the Right Wing it's suddenly out of left field... EVEN with the 50000 poll watchers that were placed around the country to intimidate democrats..
  7. I'm not there, so my imagination goes to a worst case scenario right away when it is announced there will be a pause. I imagine if Trumpsters DID burn the ballots, there would be plenty of evidence of it.
  8. Hopefully. At this point though Trumpsters would have to ruin a LOT of ballots. It's a good think Biden is so far ahead as if some of his ballots disappear into thin air it probably won't effect him much. BTW PEEPS. Trump could STILL win. 1% chance of winning is still totally viable.
  9. I would join them with a sign that reads "I AM ENTITLED TO HAVING MY FAVORITE CANDIDATE WIN BY DEFAULT!"
  10. These people are the best people to have on your side as you work to make a country more authoritarian. Stupid people who think they are smart. It's pretty sad to see that the more elderly someone gets, the more conservative they get. I REALLY hope this doesn't happen with me or anyone I know who dislikes conservatism. They didn't "save shit" for retirement and yet they vote for the party who wants to weaken any support for them as they grow old. These people can drive btw. Lol
  11. You know I am happy the media that has traditionally been Pro-Trump, like The Washington Post, are doing their part in calling Trumps claims false... I would have expected them to go along with him. But they understand why the USA elections are important and don't want to just throw them out because they don't like the outcome.
  12. It's hypocrisy due to thinking of the Republican Party as being their home team instead of actually agreeing with them on policy, which MANY do not if you question them without it being about politics , or say the poll is apolitical. I wish I could find that study to post it, but it was back in like 2014 or 2015 or something. A few people may know what I am talking about, where conservatives tend to be more progressive than their chosen political party suggests. But that isn't important, just reminds me of it. Basically they were raised Republican so that is who they root for. And yes Trump has not officially lost yet. To me he won't have officially lost until Biden is in the white house. I am betting there is going to be a few crazy things going down in the next two months. I am looking forward to seeing how many votes Trump needs to 'throw away' to get him to 270. I am glad Biden has a very large lead here because I am sure Republicans will be able to throw ballots out somewhere.
  13. The same people who were rolling their eyes when we were angry/upset after Trump won in 2016. Except you know, we didn't have a nuclear meltdown and immediately whine about voter fraud with no evidence to back it up. Well there was that Russia thing, but that was later.
  14. And yeah the two candidates in this election were "Trump verses NOT Trump". An empty tomato can could have beaten Trump.
  15. Yeah I think he will restore Obamacare and Paris agreement. That said if he is only in office 4 years he will be remembered as the president who just re-instated what Obama did. Well yeah. I am just saying at the end of the day Biden is still a centrist husk. I don't expect much from him beyond fixing some stuff Trump screwed up. I am a little happy though that I would have an anxiety attack just by looking at what Trump is doing. I would rather have a presidency that gets NOTHING done than a Trump presidency.
  16. My morning cup o joe tastes bland, but thankfully I don't have to drink Trumps orange cyanide coffee anymore. I feel like there is a near 100% chance the GOP will do exactly this. Next time though Trump 2.0 will be GOPs puppet and favorite to win from the get go, and not after he wins the main election.
  17. Well, I think there is a good chance Biden will end up playing in favor for the GOP come 2022/2024. If Biden turns out to be a 'meh' president, which he probably will, Trump could run again in 2024 and win. Biden is a boring centrist politician who harps on meaningless platitudes and avoids talking about policy substance as much as possible. Trump got elected because of his right wing populism in 2016. He lied about everything populist he said, but his supporters lapped it up anyway. Come 2024, people who are on the fence may have kinda forgotten how bad Trump was, especially if he uses that populist rhetoric he used in 2016 - leading to his re-election. And if the GOP find a Trump 2.0, they will have an even better chance of winning 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP pick some random guy and train him to be like Trump, just not as stupid as him, and less antagonistic toward other Republicans. That is what I would do if I were in charge of the GOP.
  18. This is what I have been thinking the past few years. Bernie's ideas will EVENTUALLY win over, but won't be viable till... I dunno... 2040ish. Country is just too conservative and the Trump administration has proven that to me.
  19. I still feel like Trump is going to win somehow.... SOMEHOW, and if not some militias will start kidnapping democrat leaders or..or SOMETHING. Then Civil War because how snowflake conservatives who think Trump is entitled to another 4 years.
  20. Since so many of my family are having a horrible day, I actually feel a little bad for them. Because they are upset in general, but not because of the reason they are.
  21. True, but you still have to try. I think there is a very good chance for violence from their side in 2020. Much more than when Obama was in office. Fascism makes them feel entitled/invincible in a way straightforward conservatism didn't in earlier elections.
  22. I guess they don't remember 2016 where their great leader WON the election in this supposedly fraudulent system. I bet if you asked this family member if there is any way biden could have win fairly in his/her eyes, they would say No. In their minds Trump only loses because everyone else is out to get him, and that there is no reality where he loses legitimately. That is what Trump has been priming his base to think the past few weeks ever since he was told Biden will probably win this election. I mean the guy was talking about the 2020 elections being fraudulent before the votes were even counted, IN THE PAST TENSE basically. Some reason it doesn't raise a red flag in conservatives minds like it would anyone else even mildly good at detecting Bullshit. They're puppets who can't see the string, and the strings are 10 inches in diameter
