I only got that feeling for wobbly really. It seemed to stop kinda halfway through. I'm willing to bet that we WILL get Metz, but Manchester and Wobbly are pretty up in the air.

Here's my track by track review 1. minipops 67 (source field mix) - ok 2. XMAS_EVET10 (thanaton3 mix) - ok 3. produk 29 - ok 4. 4 bit 9d api+e+6 - ok 5. 180db - wtf oww? ok? 6. CIRCLONT6A (syrobonkus mix) - Weird. ok. 7. fz pseudotimestretch+e+3 - slightly less than ok. The manchester track. 8. CIRCLONT14 (shrymoming mix) - OMFG THE METZ TRACK! MY BODILY FUNCTIONS HAVE STOPPED. ALL OF MY PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN LIFTED FROM MY BEING! I AM SLIPPING UPWARD INTO A CONSCIENCENESS UNKNOWN TO ANY MAN! It's ok. Maybe even quite okay...nah it's the worst on the album. The live version is much better, the one with the ear piercing screaming. 9. syro u473t8+e (piezoluminescence mix) - Tipper rip off. Ok. 10. PAPAT4 (pineal mix) - ok 11. s950tx16wasr10 (earth portal mix) - ok? 12. aisatsana - It's Metz played backwards. Shpongle rip off. ok. Pitchfork will give it a 'why do all musicians who play this kind of music have short hair' out of 10 and WATMM will give it a 'time to get rid of the Aphex Twin subforum and replace it with a The Flashbulb subforum' out of 10. The numbers weren't BPM's either. They were your intended heart rate while listening to the Album by track. I'd say it was pretty accurate.

For those filled with doubt, go listen to Metz again. If you're still filled with doubt, then there is no hope for you I think he signed up with Warp to do more LPs, and the deal was broken when he gave them Drukqs. It was Warner Bros he had the big contract problem with. They owned his America distribution rights I believe.

Aww man, I was kinda hoping to have to like... do something really immature to his place of residence. -
I'm not trying to be facetious or anything when I say the synth carrying the melody needs...a little more to it! In parts anyway. It sounds very weak in some parts, mostly when other things are going on you can tell the frequencies are overlapped. Maybe you could try modulating the predelay of reverb a bit in some parts to make the sound a bit more full and dynamic. Like in parts that may feel more emotional to increase the predelay a bit to carry a more subtle effect? Fav part is when everything goes all quiet at 1:35. I like your use of mono to stereo as well as the sudden transition to quiet in some parts. Keep up the good werk!

I'm really diggin Trash Run and as last time, ATMfunk! Really cool stuff. How did you make the vocoder so clear on ATMfunk? I don't hear any vocoder weirdness or anything. IS it even a vocoder?

Because I'm just skeptical. I listen to The Tuss, and it's obvious it's Aphex. But Steinvord is weird. It doesn't feel as complete as I've come to expect from either Aphex or Square. The styles though are similar. So, I'm just going to say idk, and I'm fine with that.

I think that from time to time, but aside from lyff acid, I don't really get that vibe anywhere else. The actual composition of the tracks don't feel as complete as either artist normally makes their stuff. Sometimes Steinvord makes fairly cheesy stuff. The tracks for the most part don't feel complete. Like there's a really awesome buildup, breakdown, but then it kind of devolves into nothing. Then the track will just switch completely. It weird but because of that the tracks feel like sweet demos half of the time. I still do listen of Steinvord a lot though.

I just can't convince myself that Steinvord is AFX or Squarepusher. I guess I'll never know.

If Metz is ever released, it'll likely be my favorite track.
