Hate this kind of limited shit...I will be the one to pay the plane ticket price's for this second hand
Just don't buy it fam
no chance...missing any of his releases sends me loopy
What is the most you've paid for one of his releases? If you don't mind the question that is, no need for an exact figure.

I'll be happy with just a lock of Richard's hair, preferably pubic. If you don't provide I'll firebomb your shop. From England.

*mysterious customer comes into shop*
Hello, I would like 237 copies of the latest Aphex release. Do you have any Analord binders too, per chance? Worth a try. Oh, and read the rules.
*leaves, crippled by boxes of vinyl*

Alien: Isolation is fucking great. the A E S T H E T I C S.
I ran facefirst into a xeno at 3am this morning because I stumbled into a box on the far side of a big empty lobby away from it. first real scare I've had in a game in a long time.
Playing that game with the dynamic sound range on and hearing huge volumes of bassy sirens rumble out suddenly while being plunged into darkness were terrifying if great times.
60fps on PC makes the xeno so much more scary too.

Thanks for reminding me of her, I should add some of it to the pile.

Will keep an eye out for LTROI Spi, see what it's like.
Reading Brief Interviews with Hideous Men on my kindle and I already like it much more than I did anything in Oblivion. The stories felt like they were trying too hard to be difficult in Oblivion but BIWHM seems totally natural, wonderful prose and funny, despite the often morbid / heinous topics.
In real world books: after the hugeness of Jerusalem, I am reading Oranges are not the only fruit by Jeanette Winterson, which is very small (the size of a pocket bible!).

I know how to make fruit cake & banana bread. Obesity here I come!

gonna give Let It Die a go tonight... sounds like it has some interesting Dark Souls esque mechanics... I haven't played any Grasshopper games before so I don't have any reference to the type of combat they have
I'm still totally confused about the f2p thing though, I haven't heard anything about how they monetise it. I'm just hoping there's no pay2win nonsense.
Oh poop, another reason to get a PS4. Come back and let me know how good it is, please? Big Suda fan, I am.

Loved Wipeout Fusion on the PS2, loved how the vehicles were genuinely different.
I kinda want to get Redout, because that's meant to be very similar to Wipeout (although not quite as good). But I need my hovercar racing fix!

Finished Jerusalem, all 1174 pages of it (and the four page acknowledgements). Review: quite good. Fairly long, but worth it, sort of like Pynchon but instead Moore happily explains to you his references rather than expecting you to go down to the library yourself. Offers a nice alternative idea of the afterlife, which I've found I now consider to be my preferred form of it.
Also continuing to read Ted Chiang, and he is pretty good too. Story of your Life deserves its praise.

God damn it I hear XV is not all that bad (but still flawed a bit) and now I kinda want to play it. Someone send me a ps4?

Just Dance 2017 (joy-cons confirmed motion controls)
*pre-orders 2 consoles*
But serious, no first day Zelda? I will wait a few months then.
-
Reading some Ted Chiang, in between Jerusalem (page 800...)

You'll be like us in England when we had David Cameron voted in: at first, you're considering which vein to cut first. Eventually, like most chronic pain / trauma, you get used to living in a nightmare land. Despite reality caving in every day.

Officially given a slight raise and new job title, along with coworker in similar role to divide up the jobs I've struggled with alone for months. Time to start that hobby I always wanted to try but couldn't afford: angel dust.

£1 a word and you're on

150,000 word novel? Easy.
A 600 word synopsis + cover letter? Hang me out to fucking dry, PLEASE

I'm a huge fan of Hauschildt, and was surprised to find he's released another album having only done so a year back (shit, time flies).

Love arpeggios and floaty atmospheres, which are his stock in trade. Can't get enough of this kind of stuff.

Yeah, Barker is unashamedly British, obsessed with small town life / characters. After reading a whole bunch of American books where I just about understand certain references / nuances, it's nice to get everything for once.
-
I am the opposite: I wish to read more Le Guin, having enjoyed the first Earthsea immeasurably.

Jerusalem is fucking long
But good. I don't think there's a pebble in Northampton Moore has not described or featured yet.

Person I work with who broke leg might not return to his job, which I currently oversee in his absence. If he does not, boss has told me he will negotiate a raise for me and take over the role full time (raise is a maybe, he said, but I was gonna ask for one if it looked like I would be doing this job for ever).
Not gonna be much but any extra would be lush.

it's as awesome as ever
