what do you mean? I will never get enough of this sound... you should read his interview on the project as well.. from it it seems that the next record will already show some interesting ideas..I like that these are basically the throwaway records, as are the next two and he wants us to buy them anyway, even though only four onwards will be interesting!
...
Still gonna buy em though. :P
I got the information of him considering the first three throwaway from said interview, plus I own the bloody record so I like it!

If it has a HDMI port, would make it pretty nice to carry a cable + plug into whatever monitor / tele is available.
But I am curious / interested, might buy day one purely for old times sake (the only console I've ever bought day one was the Wii and that was because it was cheap. Ah, nostalgia...)
omg.
given that wii u didn't sell super well and userbase was made up of either BIG NINTENDO FANS, or simple people choosing to believe in the wii u and invest in it, expecting people to rebuy the wii u games is going to be a massive FUCK YOU to the nintendo fanbase lololol
Nintendo make you rebuy their games yearly, how is this any different? lol

Nearing the end of Hyper Light Drifter and I am sad. Happy I found pretty much all secrets on my own, although I'm missing a few modules / keys but lack enough shits to be a total completionist.
Next up: Odin Sphere on ps3, which I will actually complete this time (last time my ps2 shit the bed and I lost my save data. TWICE. ;__;)

Parents are separating. Not really any problem emotionally--I'm 32, who cares? They should have split up years ago--but as both parents are incapable of doing anything, I am expecting an extended period of awkward arrangements and dragged feet in just getting the whole thing over with. It's going to be messy.
That's funny, whenever I get a flu, which is rarely, I usually do absolutely nothing about it and that also works to get rid of it in like three days.
I found out recently that other people go to the doctor / hospital when they get the flu. Really? I just carried tissues in my pocket and blew my nose.
sounds like you didnt actually have the flu then, which can mean days of a fever so high that you have nightmarish hallucinations. the flu is not just sniffles and a sore throat.
Guess I've never had it then (thank fuck)

Can make delicious treacle oat cookies from scratch within minutes. I feel like I've learnt a superpower.

Forgot to say I like this! Also that the music here seems to be relatively untouched, so perhaps with each edition the music will degrade further and further until all recognisable tunes have vanished? [/prediction]

Hyper Light Drifter is neat

goddamn I hate writing essays. structured writing is so painful, aargh. I need to go to a writers' event or something and get some ideas off people on how to make it easier cos this is just idiotic. I have a mere 1,000 word essay to write on a subject I know and understand, but spooling all the ideas out into a neat and logical structure without constantly going back and editing every word I've just written is so heccin' hard, fricc.
not to mention referencing and academic writing conventions, etc.
Amateur! Try doing that but with 150,000+ words and several times in a row.
Tip: I found it easier to transfer the draft onto a digital device--kindle, tablet, whatev--and proofread on that, doing edits / corrections on the computer as I go. Stops it being such a ballache.

IJ is so fucking long
yea I get it Foster alcoholix anonymous is giving up your will too. can we move on
I finally read the thing (7 months ) and ended up with a thousand questions. Read the first chapter again and ended up with two thousand questions. Guess I'm gonna have to read the whole thing again (or at least the actual-plot relevant parts, which is about 30% of the book) sometime, in about 10 years.
< David Fucking Wallace
Also congrats on finishing it! I should reread it eventually, sure there's a few things I missed.

I bought a rad sofa, then found it would not fit through my flat's cramped front corridor so I had to return it, in between lugging it up and down a flight of stairs and damaging walls and other stuff, including muscles and pride. Infinite sadness / humiliation.
Blank: scoop up whatever he makes a mess of and transfer it to his bed. Continue until he stops.

Finished the first edit of my next book and I am shocked at how little editing I needed to do. Plus, I don't hate it! Now to try and get a literary agent.
That's quite the accomplishment!!! Congrats
The amount of spelling errors dampens the feeling somewhat but thanks all the same. Enjoy your truck!

Building portals across a corridor and then running through them like it was a Scooby Do scene was fun, as was building a bridge for my partner and then removing it when he was halfway across. Good times.

Playing Portal 2 Co-op with a friend and it's very fun. So satisfying when you figure out those puzzles and give each other a hi-five.
maybe add me on steam at some point? i'm trying to 100% this and i've only got a handful of coop achievements left to earn. probably be best to do it after you'd completed it with your friend.
Will do! My steam name is Bechuga, probably won't take us long to finish it.
Me and buddy have completed the coop courses (not the extra ones tho) so if you still want those achieves, let me know

Have my Jerusalem, which I shall read after Albert & Emily. Here is how small the words are in it:
And there's 1200 pages of this.

just acquired R·Type Final for PS2, it's really fun so far, hard as fuck though
YESH! Wicked game. Still play it semi-regularly.
this might be the most stupid question is there a way to save your story mode progress or do you have to go through the whole thing every single time?
1CC it or gtfo

No way, it IS a big deal!!!
Enjoy the freedom and personal space =)
It's not that much personal space (well, it's a little apartment) but yeah, freedom.
I can finally blast some Autechre while taking my breakfast without annoying everybody and it feels great !
As someone who in the last year also moved out, I fully understand any happiness you might have. Enjoy it!
*blasts Lawnmower Deth full volume*

Crows wait until your back is turned before swooping in and claiming that french fry someone dropped on the ground.
They do this because they're ashamed to be seen eating food off of the ground.
Need I say more?
The year ago me is still on point
Also when did AI become animals?

I suspect the gameplay will falter when playing the Switch on the move (the trailer hints at slow down on the little screen) but otherwise interested. Depending on how insane the pricing of it is. If it's sub-£300 with Zelda, I might preorder.
