  1. I’m skeptical of shrinks. Probably couldn’t afford to see one even if I wanted to.
  2. Yeah, I talked to my priest about it and he told me to start working on developing skills that I can earn a living from.
  3. I don’t even have the urge to drink, which is weird because normally I’m all about it. I’ve just been sitting around doing nothing, or driving aimlessly so I feel like I have something to do.
  4. True, but it's good to have something to do. I tend to lose my sanity when I have too much time alone, and I'm seeing it start to happen right now. Scary stuff.
  5. This channel makes me embarrassed of my German citizenship
  6. depression, isolation, dysphoria i seem to be the only one in this area who isn't always busy, i can't find motivation to try at anything anymore, also i just found out one of my best friends has been on xanax for the past two years i resent the fact that america exists. it isn't worth the suffering that feeds it.
  7. I might have a cup of herbal tea before I go to bed at 9 PM tonight How does sand catch on fire
  8. I did not expect to live this long
  9. @President SquidwardI'm glad there's someone on this site younger than me.
  10. Of course he isn't really the way he is on television. Nobody could actually be that filled with rage and still live a functional life. Plus, it's edited so you only get all the most intense bits squished into a short television slot.
  11. Finishing up The Crying of Lot 49, plan on reading Confessions of a Mask after.
  12. It's kind of a combination of both. The first decade of his career was just about the pure rebellion of the genre, and was mostly inspired by dada and fetish pornography. He said in an interview that he wanted his cassettes to feel like really disgusting pornographic images that you'd find on the ground in a dark alley or something like that. Later on he became more focused on protesting reckless industrial consumption. The early '90s were kind of a transitory period, both in sound and in ethos.
  13. I’ll try to remember that. I haven’t been doing much (any) cooking lately since the kitchen at my current place is horrendous.
  14. Also, the best carrot dish I've had was a stir-fry of shredded carrots with a subtle amount of Chinkiang vinegar, which made the flavor many times more exciting.
  15. Are they good, though ? It's easy to get cheap produce, but it's hard to find the good stuff. Carrots should be sweet, and most of the cheap ones taste bitter and toxic.
  16. What camera did you use for those ? The photos look professional.
  17. It actually does look pretty good for cutting pomegranates. Thanks for the idea.
  18. I used to have an Opinel mushroom knife but lost it on a deep woods adventure I wanted to replace it but the amount of ticks I was getting convinced me to cut down significantly on the amount of time I was spending in the woods (especially after a couple friends got the alpha gal allergy from Lone Star ticks). Other than that, I've heard good things about Moras and still might get one for general use but not today.
