it's sounding more and more like the se2 has been nicked in favor of a bigger cheaper iphonex thing. sucks as the only reason i bought into ios to begin w/was they were seemingly the only one doing a small phone. granted the se is actually too small. but my friend just picked up an x and that thing is already to big. so if their next "cheap" phone is even bigger i might go back to android if i can find something that suits me. me original se has been rock solid though. dropped numerous times (has a pretty significant dent in the back). no screen cracks. totally submerged numerous times. really would've just preferred something a little bigger with modestly updated internals and still have a fucking headphone jack

yaeh god it sucks. it is a fun game good gameplay but honestly it's like 99% filler. reminds me very much of mgsv in that way

looks awes watched upgrade because it was playing at a more convenient time than hereditary but will try and catch hered next week if it's still available. upgrade was v stoopid but i was actually caught off guard with the twist whoa. still stupid though

what? was it abysmal? Words can't describe it. It fails at everything it tries to do. It's rather impressive. Sold excited. will pregame for this one me thinks. saw solo. good god the guy playing han is bad. glover's lando inflection is awful too. good visuals though (except for a couple of really bad shots). better than rogue one. overall not as bad as i thought it'd be. still not good though

mother's diagnosed bipolar. sister probably is but undiagnosed. dad is either manic/dep or bipolar but would never goto a shrink i doubt. i've ended up surprisingly stable somehow. mom did a good (great!) job raising me on her own through her depression. i just got that standard social anxiety and cynicism associated with idm fans. boredom/depression from a shitty dead end job that i'm way too comfortable at to ever leave. usually what helps me is to put my situation into perspective by thinking about how absolutely shitty most people have it than me. fwp

True, probably better than to do the 8-bit retromania thing to death... They still coulda done a high res sprite based continuation of 8 or something tho... I guess they semi tried with some cel shading but somehow it just doesn't look that good (also it's only on the characters and not the bgs, makes it look kinda inconsistent imo), i mean think of recent Guilty Gears or the new DBZ fighting game in comparison. Oh well, at the end of the day gameplay and level design is everything. Consider me hyped! i think everyone has agreed at this point that 16bit and above sprites are way too expensive (which sucks) and opt for shitty 3d models. game does look fun tho

beat metal gear solid1 last week for some reason. almost beat megaman4. about halfway through the new castlevania bloodstained nes thing. it's pretty good!

What the... that looks amazing! The multiple branching paths suggest a metroidvania-esque format but the lives counter suggest a linear pre-SOTN format. I wonder which it'll be ? castlevania 3 had branching paths but was still level based. i think it's supposed to be the spiritual successor to cv3

isle of dogs. not very good. sits at the bottom three wes anderson movies with fox and darjeeling. voices felt off and phoned in. should've used the cast from homeward bound visuals were impressive tho

seriously. if i were going to spend anything about $1k on a bike i'd probably be looking at small manufacturers who measure you and build bike to your spec. probably a ti frame. i also wouldn't worry about getting a super light bike unless you're going to be actively competing. for commuting i'm more interested in something built like a fucking tank that's easy to maintain (ie riding my 35 yr old steel frame converted to single speed). keep the tires inflated. occasionally tighten the brakes. replace the chain when it breaks ;)
