  1. That's fucking wild. What could it be, radiation?
  2. looks pretty neat, hopefully it doesn't turn into some convoluted identity game where the characters have to keep explaining the plot to each other so we can keep up.
  3. Yeah speedrunning is a scene that is mostly fueled by finding glitches and the like (eg you can beat Elder Scrolls: Morrowind in like 3 mins). Nothing wrong with that but sometimes you wanna prove yourself in the legit framework of the game.
  4. https://twitter.com/DanLinden/status/936627968440487936 holy shit
  5. is that out outside of Australia yet? Couldn't find an apk I trusted anywhere edit: oh fuck it is YEEEEBOI
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42166663 If you're not familiar with Britain First, here's my favourite story about the woman who was retweeted http://www.kentlive.news/news/kent-news/britain-firsts-jayda-fransen-campaigned-422521
  7. oh yikes, maybe it caches stuff after a game or something
  8. It was even worse at launch. You had to load the class loadout screens and the weekly medal system could only be accessed in a match. Definitely one of the worst interfaces I've dealt with in recent memory. But yeah a solid FPS once you hurdle the bullshit. I went to a local games arcade on the weekend that has some mega high-end PCs with PUBG installed, and even at smooth 60 FPS it's still such a janky piece of shit to play.
  9. I just wish I didn't have to grind awful weapons/gadgets to unlock stuff in BF. Tripmine kills are nightmarish to get, and I need 50 frag launcher kills for one of the perk things. Gah.
  10. Best thing about watching old Star Trek is seeing loads of actors you recognise in one-off roles (usually as shit aliens). Also the stablisation in that clip is nauseating.
  11. The girlfriend is binging on Vampire Diaries and it's actually giving me ennui. It's so boring. It's just characters looking at each other explaining the plot 90% of the time.
  12. I'm trying to resist this as I know it will suck my life away but I'm really struggling. I haven't touched BF since 2 but I'm really enjoying, same with the pass (Although I wish the Russia maps had a little bit of visual variety, they're all just snowy fields to get sniped on really).
  13. Good choice, I've been gradually working through it on and off for a like a year now and finished some weeks ago. Excellent and dense chapter of the show. Then I started Voyager and all the complaints about Discovery seem redundant or overblown. Might just go start TNG from season 3.
  14. I've been stuck on the base game for ages. Some fight with constant ninjas dropping in. Been a while since a game has kicked my ass so hard. Might have to revert to normal mode like a loser. shield bash! I was just replaying the sewer level with the rats in Mother Russia Bleeds and as I pressed O repeatedly to try and grab someone, I accidentally grabbed a rat that was jumping at me out of midair and threw it at an enemy. I lol'd. lots of nice little design features in this game. lol
  15. Biggest let down of Destiny 2's loot system is all gear is static, unfortunately. You can change the odd thing like sights or barrel but all options are pre-set. Once you've got a specific gun, there's no reason to chase it for a better roll.
  16. I've been stuck on the base game for ages. Some fight with constant ninjas dropping in. Been a while since a game has kicked my ass so hard. Might have to revert to normal mode like a loser. Same with XCOM 2 actually, decided to finally give it a go and I'm finding it brutal.
  17. I've been cackling at this for like five minutes straight lmao
  18. yeah I wondered if it'd be something like that, tidy way to keep with the exploration vibes without getting too tangled up in established Trek lore
  19. Imagine if this amount of energy and outrage was poured into literally anything else
  20. Can you link accounts across platforms? ie get all your stats tracked and cosmetic stuff on any platform you buy it on?
  21. Louis Theroux's Scientology Movie Scary and frustrating, all with the British awkwardness that only Theroux can deliver. A lot of these Scientology documentaries sort of blend into each other but there is some interesting stuff in this one.
