  1. would be cool cause the one you posted has that annoying chat cowbell going on ok i´m a fking idiot i let the nts chat still on in the background, lol sorry lol so that one is good? sounds good to me so far no cowbells
  2. cowbells? shit. that’s not my recording...mine was missing 2:41 around 44:00 when the stream cutout...i can stitch together one if need be...
  3. roger, we’re rolling here ...send good streaming vibes no dropouts
  4. wicked. much thanks commercial. And a shout to all the bootleggers out there...thank you for sharing! the berlin tape, while not the cleanest, does have some thick ambiance and a nice edge to it...kinda shaping up to be a favorite despite its shortcomings
  5. the church organ section is great..."96 tears" n chewing tobacco spit chords bashing pipes in the cathedral i love that part
  6. So here's a real quick n dirty stereo mix of the three files AE35unit graciously posted above. It begins in mono.. around the one minute mark the full stereo mix jarringly barges in. All of the low end is in the left and right files and virtually none in the center phone recording..that sounded a bit strange to me so I took a mono sum of the L and R files for low end and crossed over around 130 Hz.....other than that I applied no EQ or compression.. It's FAR from perfect...i don't claim to be a re-mastering expert and I just did this for fun. Thank you AE35unit for sharing!
  7. Very cool...thank you AE35unit!. I appreciate the comments and personal observations as well... hoping this set is brought to North America...

Hahaha that's awesome !!! Did the children still come ask for candies with eastre playing as background music ? Must've been quite scary for them ! yeah it was very scary......somehow eastre seemed classically halloween synthy that night..usually the harmony sorta smiles n laughs at you when it briefly hits more major-ish intervals in the course of the changes...but on halloween outdoors on a spooky monday in the dark by candlelight I never felt the smirk n wink...the harmony was pure occult n witchy vibes throughout . Everyone seemed to appreciate the atmosphere...my wife listened to two hours of Ae on a loop and dug the vibes! Highly recommended...

ha I had eastre and oneum on repeat while we sat outside with the candles n pumpkins handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters this last monday on halloween. cheers to the neighbors indeed
  10. yes I know exactly what you're sayin..it's all over AE_live and el seq...like a super low frequency sawtooth or triangle...click clicking away...crossing through the rhythm/tone barrier. how they get it to sound so..er.. rich I don't know. really been enjoying your posts in this thread Zeff
  11. it's got something to do with a using socket wrench to try to tighten some bolts on the legs of a ping pong table without using another wrench or pliers to hold the other side of the bolts steady. works for a while and then becomes a pretty silly endeavor. blowing bubbles in water with a straw or during a relaxing bath sound great with the track.

It is. Four people on earth like it, they are here on WATMM. five like it, five people.

great post!! yes the magic-eye thing...imagine developing the same concept behind the trippy posters beyond mere stoner black light novelty, beyond functional special fx shots...into a richly emotive and expressive art form with incredible depth of detail one way to describe their work that works for me
  14. a loner! a rebel! elyc6 is great in the car, perfect driving music. probably a train too but I don't have a train handy. maybe just moving, cuz it accompanies a morning workout with style and class. to me it exhibits a prized quality, a rare quantity: the state of being known as Pod Car Music. got that Pod Car Music vibes.

some really good points buried in a lot of floofy doof bullshit there in that review....good stuff tho! the emphasis on FM synthesis on this record seems misinformed and out of date...fuck knows what's going on in the land of elseq. did I miss an interview or something discussing technique? using laptops as protest and resistance he he love it. kinda seems like a computer wrote that review.....
  16. the possibility that it's related to the campfire guitar song closing Krakow and the ring mod pod car music around 45:33 in Dour Ae_Live gave me a friendly point of entry initially. The length and general ridiculousness of the track makes it difficult to get a handle on. It seems to have a lighthearted playful feel that makes it stand out in the elseqs for me.
  17. a few years ago I had this realization that Ae were my Grateful Dead. And I am a deadhead. track is wicked. same reaction when its over.....what the actual fuck was that?
