  1. Quaristice is much more of a headphones record than Exai... which is much better on speakers. The bass is essential and the higher frequencies are painful in headphones actually.. i'm sad about that. these opinions formed on akg k240s
  2. samples treated in jasuto sequenced entirely in sunvox tracker on an ipod touch
  3. 6852 and ts1a would fit snugly inside this album, especially 6852. do i remember reading that it was a solo rob track or was that bullshit?
  4. i've only been able to listen up to t ess xi in the car, had to go pick up some smoke -- just from these first tracks, exai is sexai..... it makes for some dramatic driving music, kind of got my heart rate up on the turnpike.. now it's time to get phased and headphone the whole thing
  5. do you all have collective amnesia right now... there were 30 second samples of the first disc on norman records site, you commented on it extensively awepittance
  6. an enterprising mod should filter out all the art posts into another thread for posterity. they probably shouldn't have been merged in the first place.
  7. i love this here. good recommendation thanks.
  8. the breakdown of communication: pd. dont need recycle unless you're p. d. supercollisions. power duck.
  9. don't want this to get overlooked; it's a new fan compilation, Unnatural History IV, of rare coil tracks, from one off singles and compilations and alternate mixes and things... mostly from the 80s and 90s era. Convenient to have them all together in good quality.

  11. I'm completely with you on all of this. That's actually my upload of Inkling on an older account of mine. Well good.
  12. this production style vaguely reminded me of vhs head, for what it's worth.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHDiLYFRAu4 Sean mentioned this Cabs release as one of the first things they heard of them in the late 80s
  14. maybe the cheap digital photos are off-color, i would expect it to be more yellow than green, like the stream site wishing this was a double album. i love it through and through but it already feels so familiar. and it's not even really out yet in my country
  15. it sounds good, but isn't it really only good for people who are ready for anything? most people i know plain aren't. most people i know need very predictable outcomes or they get really confused and upset. and i mean about almost everything. it's fucking sad actually.
  16. yeah it was special. it kills me that i had the equipment to do an 'okay' recording of it at the time (mini sony stereo mic to either minidisc or mp3-recording i-river) but wanted my hands free to enjoy the show.
  17. does anyone know if the 2005 nyc show was recorded... it's the one i went to.
  18. speaking of O=0, notice the equals sign has been left off all the file names from the downloads... i thought it would be a technical character not allowed in file name thing, but renaming them works.
  19. the actual conversion is working fine in audacity, it's just weird it detects it as 32.. phling, that confuses me even more. also, they're all already at 44100 oh well they're supposed to be according to bleep. yeah
  20. So has anyone tried to convert the 24 bit wavs to 16 bit in audacity... I just opened r ess and audacity thinks it's 32 bit float rather than 24...
