    Xi and Kim Jong-un would kill anyone like they're a fly and not bat an eye. And their heart beat would not even change by a single BPM. Give me a break.

    Which -ism it came from is irrelevant once you have a bullet in your head.

    Im sorry but bootlicking to authoritarian figures is bootlicking whether fascist, capitalist or pseudo communist. The boot may be red youre still licking it.

    I mean how hard is it to understand dictators arent chill people even if they say they're Communist? The fine prints of their delusion and allegiance are irrelevant. One man/one party dictatorships are no joke. It's fucking brutal.

    I get people believe in marxism, there is some decent stuff in that and all but how can you be so fucking blind to a dictator just because he dress in red? It's just beyond me.

    The past three years of covid ive been saying ''eh pandemic is pure shit but at least its not WW3 or Nukes war'' and now this...

    It's probably poker. But if it's not...

    Nuclear is no joke.

    And i guess that's the strength of the Nuclear poker move. Everybody is afraid of Nukes. But even just to do that Poker move... you still have to be a fkin insane person.

    And if de-escalation happens, and Poutine stays in power it probably means a new Cold War?

Semi-local (they're from the Golden Horseshoe, so local enough) musical heroes to be sure.

    They're also going to be accompanying Front 242 on the latter's upcoming spring tour.

    One of the top live act ive seen.

    They come around in MTL very often and its always memorable.

    Love the fact that they both do abstract sound experiments like this and banging techno.

    They're probably right.

    You can react:

    1- by being insulted

    2- by being flattered

    3- by being indifferent

    4- try to make more original stuff

    Let's just say that happened to me a lot because of my love of braindance lol. If you make braindance/idm you have to deal with it its just gonna happen.

    If you want it to stop, you have to force yourself to make original and totally new sounding stuff.

    Which is NOT easy AT ALL and is the reason why there is a lot of more or less derivative stuff (am 100% guilty of this)

    I have nothing against things that don't reinvent the wheel but if people say it sounds like AFX/AE you got to be honest with yourself and realize it probably does.  There is nothing inherently wrong about that but original stuff will always have the upper hand.

    These days i take it as a challenge to go from there and try to find new ideas from whatever i learned in the genre.

    But yeah true originality and true artistic vision is not easy and is basically the artistic Graal. Some find it very quickly, some find it later at year 5-10-15 of practice, some never do.

    Its not the fact he is calling himself doctor, its the fact he is calling himself doctor AND is giving covid misinformation. The context here, is quite important.

    What if a doctor in medieval literature would just go to you and say ''im a doctor, X medecine is good for you''? You would probably assume he's a MD.

    imho its fucked up.

    This fella's Doctorate (quoting wiki): ''The doctorate was awarded in 2013 for work on developing teaching methods using digital media such as online videos.''

    Not the same as MD. He is obviously feeding his channel off this confusion. One does not simply call oneself Dr, have a channel about covid and act like nothing is wrong with that.

    Of course people will think you're a MD.
