  1. Been listening to this on repeat since it came out. It's lovely! Probably my favorite Vibert release since Rhythm, although Bizarster was pretty fantastic too (Can't believe that came out 5 years ago already!)

Hello continues the trend of excellent Wagon Christ intros. Luke is the master of first tracks. The rest are all quality too - I feel like I usually end up skipping at least one or two on Vibert albums, but not the case here. That middle run of Designer-Bleep-Same Ol is sublime. Super fun album

  2. Was waiting for some car repairs today and listened to the interview. It was great! Tom is an incredibly intelligent and well spoken guy. I particularly enjoyed him laughing and referring to his music career as "a mess". Seems like he's always just following what interests him and never concerning himself with anyone's expectations. I have to respect that.

  3. I had listened to Entain quite a while ago, but for some reason or another it didn't grab me. I've absolutely loved everything I've heard of his since then. Well...The Present Lover might've had the euro house cheese turned up just a *bit* too high for me, but aside from that it's all top notch.

Awful, factually incorrect review. This album sounds sonically like last two. Also calls Ultravisitor a rare misstep lolll.

This album is ending up being more divisive than I thought. Also, while I personally love Ultravisitor, I do recognize that's it's probably his more difficult album to get into. One of my friends was recently going through his discography for the first time, and surprisingly said he really enjoyed Ufabulum and Damogen, but was incredibly bored by Ultravisitor.

  5. Hmm, having trouble finding it now. I thought it was a facebook post but it must have been an ad or something. The line was essentially "Pre-order now to get Vicsynth, Nervelevers, and the NTS Mix. More tracks will be added over the next few months."

  6. The Freeform comparison is pretty apt actually, I hadn't thought of that. Similarly, these tracks don't so much develop in a traditional sense ; rather it feels like they shift around and iterate on themselves for a bit and then move on. It's less like listening to an album, and more like touring through a bunch of individual worlds for bits at a time. I think the consistent bpm might be reflective of that intent.
