Just bought the Genki Wave Ring!

Haha, yeah, also known as Super Mario USA. It's nuts. I can't remember every single detail of the story, but Nintendo had a quality assurance guy in the US who would play through all of their games and when it came to The Lost Levels he was like, "we can't release that in the US...". So they took Doki Doki Panic and changed into a Mario game. Once you're done playing that you should try out Super Mario Special for the PC88 or just watch Jeff Gerstmann play it. It starts out fine and then turns into a fucking nightmare.

RE8 is the dumbest game I've ever played. I was entertained right up until the end where it shits the bed just like RE7, but holy moly is it dumb. Ethan reacts to things he sees in the weirdest ways. Every single line of dialogue that comes out of his mouth seems like it was written by 20 different 14-year-old boys - or rather like it was written for a video game back in 1996. But apart from the main character being a complete idiot, the game is just straight up dumb. It should have been named Resident Evil Village Idiot.
