    Yeah that’s true, a lot of staunch democrat supporters will see that as a major “fuck you”. He’s being very opportunistic. It’s a shame, cause he does have a lot of good ideas, though I think his trade policy platform could use some work. But Warren should really push, I bet a lot of republican women who don’t think trumps misogyny is cool would vote for her.

    What about this poll? Or this Economist/YouGov poll that puts Warren and Biden neck and neck? (p.132 of the PDF - good poll that has lots of interesting breakdowns, like Warren leading Biden by 7% in families with income $100K+)

    The poll cited polled 402 Democrats/democrat-leaning independents and had a margin of error of +/- 6.1% It's a bullshit poll, and terrible reporting by CNN. And all I can think of is: this guarantees another 4 fucking years of Trump.

    He was put in jail because he was deemed to be a flight risk. It appears in Sweden, they have a different definition of what constitutes assault. When you visit a country, you are obliged to follow the laws of that country. If they had simply left after they knocked him to the street, I am certain Rocky and his handlers would have faced no punishment. As it is, beating a man when he's defenseless on the ground appears to have crossed the line from self-defense to assault. I will point out that I am not a lawyer in Canada, let alone Sweden, so I could be wayyyyy off base.

    Dude, this is getting tiresome. 1. Not a meaningless distinction in their outcome. 2. BTC is small enough in economic value for China not to care about destroying it, but the political/social value of censoring someone on the blockchain could incentivize them, as they assert their authority. 3. Just...man - total supply of BTC is known. Amount per person has little if anything to do with purchasing power. Velocity is the variable. 4. You're clearly a BTC maximalist, so that's all good, but the point still stands - implementation of the algorithm is subject to ideology. 5. 105 forks! That has about as much relevance as what you posted. Suffice it to say, I did ok on Crypto (and still hodl some), and think the blockchain has valuable applications. But bitcoin is not going to replace centralized fiat currencies anytime soon.
