  1. Classic. Can't believe it came out in 07. I guess that goes for all of Köner's work though. They all sound like they could've been produced today. The latest from 12k: http://www.12k.com/index.php/site/releases/interstices/ http://www.12k.com/index.php/site/releases/wood_winter_hollow/ http://www.12k.com/index.php/site/releases/origin/
  2. Haha, oh. Yeah I don't know, dude is really under the radar. Couldn't even find a website for his label.
  3. Loops Over Land is the only one I've heard so far. I checked out the samples of his other solo albums that Mimaroglu has in stock, but wasn't feeling them. His stuff is hard to find. It's all OOP and no one seems to have uploaded any of it. http://www.mimaroglumusicsales.com/artists/andrew+deutsch.html
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug7drWGz5Bk thoroughly enjoying this Cheers. Never get tired of that one.
  5. I ignore the fact that he's an asshole, and didn't like that album anyways (Glowstyx). I do think he has some good/great material; some on Dedication, others here and there. He also has shit material, like anyone else. Some of his best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cFGGyr0ZJ8 I guess you also have to enjoy Latin shuffles to fully dig in.

  7. Here are some review sites that feature a lot of ambient music: http://reviews.headphonecommute.com/tag/ambient/ http://earslend.blogspot.com http://www.fluid-radio.co.uk http://wajobu.com http://hawai.wordpress.com
  8. It's too bad that there was never an All album.

Let's keep this guitar train goin': I've posted this somewhere on the forum before. Not sure if in this thread or not. One of my all time favorites. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug7drWGz5Bk http://shiningskullstudio.bandcamp.com/album/conversations-with-myself Too lazy to upload to youtube.
  11. Someone posted one of the tracks from that album in the listening thread I think. I picked it up back in March. As good as any Basinski, if not better. Been listening to it a lot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD905Q-y-vA
  12. Yeah, Experimedia is great for ambient music as well. They stock certain labels, like Facture and Home Normal, that FE doesn't. I remember them getting copies of all the Caretaker and Leyland Kirby stuff back in 2011. I'm sure they will this time around too.
  13. These are supposed to hit Forced Exposure soon: "Distribution in North America will be via Forced Exposure and copies will also appear at other top online stockists of such sounds." For EU people: http://www.normanrecords.com/poogle/index.php?q=history+always+favours+the+winners#axzz1mOXHZIet

  15. I can't get over his stuff. Every time I watch one of his videos, it has the same impact as the first time I came across him.
  16. Dude seriously butchered the song. Wanted to like it, but can't.
  17. It's interesting that they went with Pharrell, as opposed to Justin Timberlake or Miguel. They're far more talented vocally than he is.
