is this the real one? anyway:
tonight I had a new dog. a small one, you could hold him in your hands. But every other day I had to drop him off at a station, where he´d run into a cage with a dark hatch inside and disappear. Then I had to get a new one, because to keep the old dog would´ve cost me 15€/day. Whereas for one day it was free. That went on for several days and it really fucked me up to see every dog dissappear in that hole, just like that.
Went to the library yesterday:
Because it was his birthday and I never read any of his books: Jules Verne Facing the Flag. Well wow.
Besides that the occasional Bukowski, Sibylle Berg-Das Unerfreuliche zuerst and the second book of dune.
A Briefer History of time, I really liked the way he described the theorey and the people behind it. Interesting read.
Murakami, After Dark. I think this is his first book I have read that actually took place in the present (for me). Didnt like the chapters in Eri´s room, with the "camera-perspective", but the rest was solid.
Next: A Pale blue Dot. Really looking forward to this one, cause its at least 1/3 space-pictures
Haruki Murakami - Norwegian Wood (german: Naokos Lächeln)
I dont like judging over his books whether I liked them or not, he just has the possibility to write stuff that stays.
Still I think his more fictional stuff fits him better.
