Yeah it's a fun trick to mix these tunes with others. I like to play Avril 14th with jungle on top, it's clearly quantized nicely so it works well. Heard Vibert and Aphex both do similar things with some of the other piano tunes.

What, that acid one? From Rome 2002 isn't it? Don't remember any other AFX tracks unfortunately, I was very very screwed for the last 5 or so hours ;) I really want to know that Snowbomb one. Heard Luke play it out loads of times. Don't think it's Aphex though.

That's not watermarking. Even if you transcode a watermarked audio file, the hidden signal will remain buried in the mix. Same goes for recording it onto another media like cassette, then back to digital. No dice. It's only a couple of months, it'll go quick.

So I went to my local the other night which normally plays punk, dub, reggae and occasionally jungle on a Saturday... whilst I was supping my pint they played a selection of dubstep, which was rather pleasant. Although I found myself getting too distracted by the music to successfully follow conversations!

Ahh the ambient tracks are some of the best though. Endorphin is so lovely. It does suck they fucked up the vinyl release though. Initial pressings have (additional ;)) surface noise on the right channel and the labels are the wrong way round. And it's out of sequence and some of my favourite tracks are missing. So annoying.

It's a great album, much better than the first. Definately hearing those lighter samples in Etched Headplate

Just dropping into this thread to say that when Poison Dart by The Bug finally drops, it's probably gonna be my favourite 12" of the year Just sick, not sure if I prefer the Flowdan vocal or the Warrior Queen one though...

I was just about to post about that! I listened to this last night and it stopped me in my tracks, it's beautiful. Sort of music you can imagine listening to whilst lying in bed on a Sunday with the girlfriend having a reefer. Very nice stuff.

Some good names I recognize there! I like Goth-Trad's stuff, it's like it can't decide whether to be dubstep or less cluttered breakcore, so he goes for both at once :) He's done a noise album too. Matty G's 50000 Watts is a fucking tune

The Soulcrap one is a bit of a weird one, it was put out quite recently but neither me or any of the Vibert heads can find any info on it. I don't think it was put out as a 12" or anything like that, it just started floating around Slsk a while ago. Def Luke's stuff though and a fine release!

Exciting stuff, I'll be interested to see how this new system works :)
