The Investigation
I have been watching this true-crime drama, pretty good. A slow paced 6 parter but I like the science involved and it highlights the frustrations of the police and their imperfections.

Mint, exciting release! Was it a ballache to commission / license?
Maybe you could do Autechre next...,.

Himukalt released a new album and its a killer.

I guess more industrial than noise, but she uses lots of feedback / vocal looping and distortion that creates a pretty deadly storm. Love her sound. She also creates some unashamedly personal collage work if that's your thing.
Also if you are new to her work, check out Sex Worker I and II, really personal stuff based on her history in the scene and interviews with other women.

Lush artwork and premise for this new LP. Polypores is mega prolific, not sure how he managed to release 12 albums in 2020 and everything I heard was great?!
Grabbed the vinyl for this. He seems to have a solid fanbase already amongst modular / synth geeks / Slutz
Quote
Chaos Blooms is an exploration of chaotic and random elements within composition, performed on modular synthesizer. As with random occurrences in nature, sometimes something beautiful emerges. Sometimes not. Chaos can be frightening as well as beautiful. When you think about the movement of water or flame, they can go both ways. Fire can burn a city to the ground, but also provide warmth. It's also very pretty to look at, there's never the same pattern twice. It's the same with water. I wanted to make an album that explored that, using randomly generated voltages to control various aspects of the composition, including pitch and timbre.-

"Jewish Space Marine Warhammer 40000 Cosplay" is something I never expected to read in the promo bumf for a p-mu album. Fair play, colour me intrigued.
And also, I gotta see those photos!

Wait. So just like that, the biggest watmm controversy of the year (so far) is quashed.
And it was just getting exciting

Re Cult 48
Bleep are selling it with the press release quote "for fans of BOC" so i'm guessing any hint of plagiarism/ ghosting is right out of the window as far as they are concerned if they can shift a few records

I wouldn't have expected his tenure as President to end any other way. Don staying as Don right until the bitter end.
Congratulations America.

I just relocated to (near) Exeter, so not a million miles away.
Bristol is great, back in the old world order I visited regularly for gigs and shopping.
Check out:
Idle Hands record storeRWD/FWD online record store
Elevator Music for all your synth / modular needs
NOODS radio is local FM to you, some great sounds on there and the website just had a recent overhaul
Good luck and hope you enjoy Bristol

Got my first shot today. Never been so excited about having a needle shoved in my arm.
Actually a little surprised I was able to get a spot, as I'm not technically a patient facing healthcare worker (though I do wander the clinics for work related stuffs). I actually wondered if it was from people refusing to be vaccinated and spots opening up, but I suspect it just because my hospital system actually has its shit together.
It's funny, even a few months ago I was like "well, I'm ok waiting a few months anyway, just to see what the side effects shake out." This AM:
Congrats!
Did you have to pay for it? Just interested in how the US system for rollout is working.
Looking how far down the priority list I am, and how much of a shit storm the UK is right now, Ill be lucky to get vaccinated before Summer is out. The NHS is overwhelmed with patients. Im guessing vaccinations will eventually become available in the private sector and you will be able to pay for it if you can afford it.

There are none. If credit unions are a thing where you are, look into that.
