damnit, I wish this were available for 3ds. If I had the money to spare, I'd buy a wii u just for this, gah!

I bought a Wii U just for Super Mario Maker.

Was it worth it ? My brother and I asked my parents a Wii U for Christmas, mostly because of Super Mario Maker but I'm a little afraid of it not meeting up my expectations !

I've only just started but from what I've seen on GiantBomb it is a hell of a lot of fun. Especially with friends!

Thanks for the heads up, hope Santa will fulfill my wishes this year !

and in interviews they say their tracks start out as samples from jam sessions. id imagine they have hours and hours and hours and hundreds of hours of jam sessions

"BoC Bleep Store now open - check exclusive Magic Window alt versions and previously unreleased 4-hours-unedited version of The Color Of The Fire"

Nice that Richard finally sees fit to provide names for the tracks - I bet that's what was written on the DATs when he originally composed them.

Wouldn't a SAW II Deluxe quad-vinyl edition, remastered from the originals, new artwork, track names, bonus tracks, etc. be nice?

    The mind reels...

Of course it would be awesome, yet the fact that SAW2 tracks only ever had fan-given names is part of the magic surrounding the album in my humble opinion. I like when artists take time to explain how a mythic album was produced but in this very particular case it just wouldn't fit.

Blue Calx had an offical name

You're right. I always thought the "Calx" tracks were special to Richard and he wanted us to focus on that particular track. Wouldn't have been the same if all tracks were given a name !

(Just arguing for the pleasure of arguing !)

  5. Dublin is finally kicking :music: It's been a while since I hadn't listened to something without doing anything but focusing on the music. I just can't focus on anything else right now, it's like my brain is melting - that's a good thing.

  7. Almost completed FTL with the Torus ship on Normal, which is technically Hard. Had a maxed out ship and still didn't manage to do much more than a few hits on the last boss. This game...fuck!

    Next time for sure. :cattears:

This final boss is just too much. I've never been able to win a single FTL game just because of this - and it frustrated me so much I never bothered playing FTL again despite loving the game.

I mean, I'm into roguelike games and I'm not afraid of challenge but the difficulty curve of this game is just unbalanced and unfair imo.

  8. I'm so broke right now I don't even have the 5£ to spend on the new sets...So I'm going through the 4 I already have again and it's getting better and better.

Also, am I the only one thinking a 9-CD deluxe boxset would have been the perfect x-mas present ? I'm sure Warp/TDR could have done something lovely with a physical release of such a beast !!

  9. Looks like Pitchfork might be putting something interesting out there : a podcast interview of OPN along with "2 exclusive Kaoss Edge tracks".

You can download everything by getting here : http://pitchfork.com/features/podcasts/9767-this-is-how-we-do-it-oneohtrix-point-never/.

Currently downloading, will listen to the podcast tonight, and I strongly hope the "exclusive tracks" really are exclusive and not just Pitchfork mis-labelling the tracks he posted as Kaoss Edge on Soundcloud !
