Its an original pressing. The jacket is a glossy finish, and the record wasn't actually in the jacket, so the pieces of paper are glossy side down on the record. goffer Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 ahh so it's on the record... that's shit. you can also try a little bit of rubbing alcohol then wipe it clean with some distilled water. if you would like a really nice and affordable cleaning kit check out this link: LINK it does very well for basic groove cleaning. i buffed out and restored a lot of "unplayable" vinyl my friend had with this kit. it's only $12 and the shipping is fast and free. goffer Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 ps. how much money do you lot drop at a time on albums? new... i'll drop $12-13 an album usually from fatbeats.com, they have great deals and a lot of great re-releases used... i go to a lot of estate sales/garage sales and i can pick up 20-30 for $10 sometimes. it's very hard for me to go to used record stores and fork out $10 for a used record when I could probably find it sometime down the road for 50 cents.
