Is that a fantasy of yours?

Perhaps you and Enter a new display name can get together and swap some child porn,

maybe finish the night with a mutual fingerbang while watching the Little Mermaid or something.

Back on subject...

The first book is good (Twilight). It hits every possible button to appeal to teenage girls, and because it's clean, the parents are down with it too. The others (New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) are pretty meh, but by then you're invested enough in the characters to want to see what happens.

I've read them all, and I'm okay with that. We had a release party for Breaking Dawn this summer and had 250 people in a dinky mall bookstore at midnight. It was crazy.

Yes, the author is Mormon. Yes, the movie is going to be horrible. But with five books (one for adults) under her belt and at least four more in various stages of development, Stephenie Meyer is not going away.

Over the last 12 months, we have sold at least 1700 copies of Twilight.

in recent news, today i bought twilight for my twelve year old cousin's birthday. before purchasing a copy though, i asked myself, "am i setting her up for a life of writing fanfaction and strange vampire fetishes by introducing her to twilight?" probably. then i thought, "wouldn't that be really funny?" yes. so i bought it.

This is worse than the Goosebumps craze in the early/mid-90's.

Haha they're so cheap....I used to like the covers most back then... I bought four books in Italy just because of the covers and I couldn't even read them. The series was called "Piccoli Brividi" in Italy...

Little Goosebumps pretty much. I remember these things being just everywhere growing up. It was kind of the same situation now with Twilight where all the kids who never, ever read were suddenly devouring these books in a day or two.

These are all the wet dreams of the old Mormon men in SLC. Orrin Hatch, you devil you!!!

edit: Obviously, I know nothing of the books or the film. I do know that main dude from the film makes my blood boil, though. I didn't even hate Marcel from Top Chef, but I fuckin' loathe that stupid pretty boy

vampires are overdone. especially teenage vampires ffs.

but never done well. that's probably why people keep going. if somebody would just make a decent one i'm hoping everybody would be able to just breathe a sigh of relief put it behind them.
