hey i have a sincere request

due to the recent resurgence in love for idm and mixes that i'm feeling i think someone needs to do a classic 90's IDM mix of all the greats that make us love this music. i'd do it but i'm no good at mixing, or at least i don't mix enough to bother. i can get a track list or something if someone wants but i think it would be nice. any one up for it?

or someone can jsut point me in the direction of a mix that may fill this void for me.

ok give me some time to compile something.

this is all related to the convo me an beneboi are having in the other thread. so if you think of something then add it.

maybe we could have a forum generated tracklist.

no, the rule is just god old fasioned 90s "idm", mostly feel good tunes, but basically tunes that made you fall in love with the genre at hand. post what ever you think should go on and perhaps we'll make a poll of it. i say 90s cause most of the best "idm" came out in the 90s. if you love idm though you'll know what the classic tunes are.

also, sneaksta, this thread http://forum.watmm.com/index.php?showtopic=43938&st=75

My only request would be to either replace one of the mu-ziq tracks with or just add Hasty boom alert as it is my favorite off the album. Other than that the track list looks amazing. Oh yeah maybe beep street should be added?

I love that track and just didn't add it to keep the length down or something, but that can definitely be done. My favorite track is Catking and Teasle, so as long as that's on there i'm, happy.

needs brace yourself, either the remix or the reprise

Done

add montreal.

again, i looked at the track and for some reason didn't add it. could use more ae anyhow.

and word to the Beep Street request. It's on.

AS A BOCOLOGIST, I DISAGREE WITH THIS, BECAUSE IT CAME OUT IN 2002. IT WAS STATISTICALLY NOT DURING THE 90S.

also, i don't want to look like i'm an idm noob, i know my list is lacking.

i'll just make my own one and post it here

thanks, that's what i'm looking for. i think an "Most IDM thing" type poll may be a good idea for this thread.

or we can just get a bunch of mixes.

i like the poll idea.
