What do you guys usually say when people ask what you listen to? I usually just say experimental electronic. This genre is desperately in need of a new label though, as its kind of growing and most people (correctly) think its a lame term. most if not all musical genre names are 'gay' so to pick on IDM specifically is to jump on the band wagon of holier than thou faggots who have made it trendy to scream every time someone says the acronym (some have even gone as far as censoring it off the message board, an almost literal Olympic dive into the band wagon of IDM the acronym hating).
