Wii Motion Plus

besides the fact this should have shipped with the system, its a much needed leg up for nintendo in the emerging motion control wars. whereas MS is approaching a $200-300 pricetage for Project Natal and Sony is probably years away with that harry potter magic wand setup, for a $20 upgrade (and less depending on what bundle you get-with wii sports resort its free) you get almost 1:1 accuracy with control. been playing tiger woods 10 and its a blast, especially disc golf with the new control. the tennis game that came out is cool too but not my fav. seeing it will support red steel 2, i think fps fans on wii are in for some good titles in the future. now give me my motion plus Zelda game!

Actually, no one knows the price for Natal yet. Michael Pachter (lol) believes it'll be around $50-100 dollars - but you never know about that guy.

it's nintendo's 2nd generation motion controller. basically, a small gyroscope that attaches to the wiimote for better motion sensing. wait til Wii Sport Resort comes out next month, it's included with the game and looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

I enjoyed the first Wii Sports because you could simply flick your wrist to have a close control. I imagine that the new gyroscope will mean that I can't use it that simply anymore.

I don't really want more advanced motion-sensing. If I want to realistically throw a Frisbee I'll go and throw a Frisbee. If I want to play a computer game about throwing Frisbee's I'll use a controller.
