takeshi Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 On a somewhat related note, I have really been getting into the new Phoenix album "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix." They are French but way too frenetic to ever be considered close to Air. However, this album has a two-song, mostly electronic interlude that reminded me of 10kHz and the "Frenchiness" Fred alludes to. It's a good thing though, imo. C'est bon! It was definitely lacking any of the stand out "pop hits" that Moon Safari or Talkie Walkie had, although it came across as more sophisticated and focused sounding than their previous efforts imo.
