track 3 off of pop by gas for those who don't have youtube capabilities.

weird request i know, but there's something about this track that has had me listening to it on repeat for the last hour. it's got a weird melancholy flying feeling about it. can't really put it into words. there's a couple tim hecker tracks that sound like this as well (the harmony in blue sequence springs to mind) but nothing with the depth of sound found here.

i like this a LOT more than pretty much everything ive heard off of 0095, which thus far is the only gas i've heard

its rare to find anything that level of perfection in terms of lush, sleepyhead, pure, beatless ambience

in other words there is a reason gas-pop is considered a masterpiece

i would check out anything from machinefabriek, maybe early microstoria albums as well

or maybe oval (ovalcommers, ovalprocess, or diskont 94) but that stuff is a bit more noisy

oh shit i know!

the new(est) fennesz album, black sea. yes, this is the one. here is a track from it, which you will enjoy. one of my favorites ever. wait till the middle for when it gets so, so lush

hmmm, some nice suggestions in here although nothing really sounds like that track. although i wasn't expecting anyone to be able to point out something exactly along those lines since it's such a specific sound. this track by tim hecker is similar, to me, but not quite as melancholy. has that same shimmering flying quality.

The 'Harmony In Blue' track series by Tim Hecker contains many of my favorite interludes ever.

As for Untitled #3 by Gas, I don't think that could be compared to anything else. Perhaps should you listen to some ambient oriented albums from Kompakt's early catalog? Ulf Lohmann definitely comes to mind.
