  1. was wondering when there would be more material from 1991. His self-titled release is still on rotation.
  2. yeah, even the dialogue was pretty accurate to the comic. "I just popped your skull so hard your eye popped out!". The terseness made me lol.
  3. Norm Macdonald is arguably one of the greatest living comics, and doesn't get nearly enough rzpkt. Norm 4 Lyfe.
  4. Fucking loved this movie as a kid. it was on HBO every god damned day during the summer in the early 90s. Same goes for Robot Jox.
  5. Does anyone else feel like they should have represented the passing of time in The Night Of more clearly? I am fully aware of the toll that prison can take on a person, but it feels like he was locked up for 2-3 months at the most. To go from a reasonably well behaved/put together college kid, to having a neck tattoo and swallowing drugs in prison seems like too much of a leap. All said and done, I thought the show was amazing, if not having a bit of a meh ending. Is the BBC series worth a watch?
  6. His other soundtrack work has been extremely boring/by the numbers, with the exception of Sicario. I can't say I am all that excited, but the movie will probably be trash anyhow, so who gives a shit.

  8. those are actually pretty good stretches tbh anybody else hoping she would fart? then maybe smell her own fart??? very disappointed, would not watch again.
  9. There's this huge timeline graph available... the budget was literally $7k or are you being hyperbolic? the acting was terrible but it was still a cool story/movie. Yes. Acting is shit, yet Shane Carruth still thought it a good idea to cast him self as the lead in his follow up film. Acting was shit in that one as well.
  10. The Night Of has been great so far. I've not watched the original series, and I am unsure if I want to (given that I don't want to spoil it for myself). I am sure there are plenty of people hating on the idea of the US remaking a BBC series once again, but how do they compare? I feel like the US version, so far, has some of the best pacing and cinematography that I have ever seen on a television show.
  11. LOL. Unfortunately, I don't think his mother is the Welcome to the Dollhouse Matarazzo tho. She has no children, as far as I can tell (also; lesbian).
  12. I appreciate the fact that the title logo is taken directly from the way Stephen Kings name is stylized on his book covers.
  13. This classic was rumoured to have been as well but I think it was actually made with Rebirth RB-338. There is video of it but I can't find it anymore. Definitely believe this. That distorted bass drum reeks of Rebirth.
  14. hey yall. thought i'd give you a heads up that I have a mix on the Penryn Space Agency tonight @ 10pm BST. Couple of unreleased tunes from my self & some friends, and a slew of other tunes. Some links for you... https://www.facebook.com/penrynspaceagency/?pnref=story http://www.thesourcefm.co.uk/
  15. If you are looking for an authentic, well executed Alien successor, just play Alien: Isolation. We all know Ridley is going to fuck this up. Better off just ignoring it.
  16. my guess from those photos is that it the movie will be about the Engineers dealing with a termite-humanoid infestation, and will lay the groundwork for the origins of the Orkin Man. p.s this explains why Hudon asks "Is this going to be a stand-up fight, sir, or another bug hunt?" in Aliens, btw. p.p.s more evidence:
