I've lost a good friend. yeh, definitely been there. she was staying at my place pretty much every night, and when i'd ask her why me and her weren't somethin serious she'd say "cause I already have a boyfriend". Because as soon as the person you really care about does it once, even if there's a "good" reason then in the back of your mind if you got together you won't be able to not think about how they could potentially cheat on you. I'm merely reflecting on my situation - in a now six year long relationship which in recent times has had more bad than good sadly. In the long term there's definitely been far more good than bad - but my state of mind is a bit dark right now. My fathers marriage broke down a few months ago and she's coming after him for everything financially and starting to spread VERY insidious lies about him. A couple of weeks ago I found a suicide note my dad's been writing - so there's pretty much why my thoughts on relationships aren't great right now. And also there's your emo post!
